I meet with Dr. Andrew Park to treat a shoulder injury that I was struggling with for several months. Before knowing about Active Release Techniques (ART) therapy and meeting with Andrew, I sought the attention of an orthopedic to treat a persistent shoulder pain brought upon by a vigorous gym program. Long story short, the orthopedic shot me up with cortisone shots and diagnosed my condition as tendinosis of the rotator cuff and an impinged shoulder that required subacromial decompression surgery; basically there was no further treatment for me outside of surgery. I also saw several physical therapists with no avail. After reading about ART therapy and visiting an ART website, I came across Andrew’s contact information. Upon our first consultation he took his time to listen to my story and symptoms, evaluate the situation and tell me his course of treatment. He made me understand all the other muscles that work in unison with the shoulder and brought to my attention an issue with my scapular and how my body was compensating for a scapular flare; something that the orthopedic did not asses and the physical therapists barley identified. After seeing Andrew for several weeks to correct a condition and poor posture (which I’ve been living with for the majority of my life), I no longer feel that surgery is the only solution and my pain has greatly diminished. I’m now back in the gym with a much better understanding of correct form and technique. I wanted to take the time to share this experience in hope that other people can find noninvasive solutions to their conditions.

Dr. Park is an excellent health practitioner. Among his many outstanding skills, he is an exceptional diagnostician. I had two stubborn conditions that physicians had told me were untreatable and that I should learn to live with through the aid of painkillers and occupational therapy etc. Dr. Park identified those conditions differently, treated them professionally and 'originally' and I am virtually free of pain and in near full mobility.

I cannot say enough good things.

I have been to quite a few health care professionals when it comes to physical therapy, chiropractic care and ART in the last five years. I feel like I have had enough experience to tell good care vs. not very good care. Dr. Park's care was beyond my expectations. He was able to diagnose quickly answers to the problems I was having and also problems I did not know I had. He spent a lot of time (every session) helping me figure injuries out - unlike the other professionals I would go to who would treat you as though you were a patient that they just wanted to get in and out the door as quickly as possible. I highly recommend his Active Release Technique services to everyone with overuse injuries or chronic injuries.

I'd already been seen by a top Orthopedist who basically told me that I had some Arthritis in my hip and I should try some pilates (thank you very much), but there wasn't much to be done. Meanwhile, I was in tremendous pain, so I decided to give Dr. Park a try.
When I limped into Dr. Park's office for the 1st time I was skeptical (to say the least) that any "new age" touchy feely therapy was going to be worth a damn. I was limping badly, with what I was sure was sciatic pain in my butt and arthritic pain in my hip. The pain was getting so bad I couldn't sleep and was seriously considering a hip replacement.
After the first A.R.T. session with Dr. Park, the sciatic pain in my butt was gone and has not come back. After another session or two, the arthritic pain in my hip, that my orthopedist told me I'd have to just live with, was reduced by more than 90%.
Today, that's closer to 95%.
Before I started seeing Dr. Park, I could not walk a full 18 holes of golf. The pain of walking was just too much after about 12 - 13 holes. Now, 18 holes, up and down hills, no problem. Plus, the Doc gives good golf tips.
If you're suffering from lower back, shoulder, neck, hip, knee, ankle or any other skeleto-muscular pain, GO SEE THE DOC. You'll be glad you did.

They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. They really go above and beyond to make me feel special. I've never been anywhere that seems to care more about their clients than here. I am going to refer everyone I know here. I absolutely love this place. Their primary concern is my safety and comfort, and they always take the time to address every concern of mine immediately.

I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. I didn't wait long at all. My appointment started on time, and the wait was much shorter than other offices I have been to. They had quite a few interesting magazines, which made my time in the waiting room go by much faster. I'm usually somewhat sensitive to the cold, so I was a little worried that their office would be too cold, but it was fine. I was very comfortable the entire time. They would never suggest that I buy something that wasn't necessary, and never pressured me. They were always very considerate and professional.
