Great staff from the CEO to the janitors. I came here and could not walk but the PT and OT crew have me walking with a cane. Food is also good I truly thank god for all the doctors especially Dr. Shaw and Dr. majewski. They have been awesome! Thanks for everything.

My experience with Kindred Rehab was just phenomenal! I arrived a few days post surg for a hip fx repair resulting from a fall. I was shockingly dependent on assistance for routine everyday functions! The PT staff taught me to use a myriad of assistive devices & began working to regain my ability to walk again. Staff made it a fun time with lots of banter & laughter! Nursing staff was professional, skilled & made my stay very comfortable. I am proud to know this facility is available in our community. As a retired health care provider, I am aware of what quality care should be & it was indeed here. Thank you so much.

Having been both an "in-hospital patient" and an "out-of-hospital out-patient" at the Kindred Rehabilitation Hospital Northeast Houston ("Kindred Northeast"), I am pleased to acknowledge that Kindred Northeast has top-notch management, therapists, nurses, support staff and team players who have been instrumental in working with me as I recover from a debilitating stroke suffered on August 30, 2014. Kindred Northeast is an amazing facility, and we would highly recommend that patients and their families consider using this location for excellent care for all of their rehabilitation needs. The food, facility and staff are all wonderful, and I am currently still being blessed by treatment I am receiving at Kindred Northeast.

I arrived and was amazed at the amenities. I have had wonderful therapy and have gotten much better. Everyone is kind and caring. The food is very very good. I have increased my strength and my stamina. I can do things now hat I couldn't do six weeks before I came here. I could not have gone to a better place!

My admit date was not well orchestrated by the staff on duty. They said they didn't know I was being admitted although my neurologist and the intake person coordinated everything on Friday and knew I was going out of town and would be back for admit on Monday. They took me to a room and said the nurse would be in soon. An air mattress was ordered on Friday and delivered on Monday while I was in the room waiting for the nurse. The nurse did her admit paperwork and had me sign a consent for treatment. She ordered lunch for me and said she was waiting for the doctor orders. Hours went by, dinner was delivered and nurse was still waiting on doctor orders, This continued as I am still in a room for hours with a consent signed and I have eaten lunch and dinner. I could have fed myself at home. I have now been in the hospital room for over 8 hours and am still being told they are waiting on doctor orders and since it is after hours the doctor should be making rounds shortly and give orders to the nurse. Again I patiently wait, I finally lose patience and call my doctors answering service leaving a message for him. Not long after that I had a doctor in my room., I found out from my dr that the nurses never called to let him know I was there all this time, All of a sudden, I had people in my room taking blood and vitals and starting an IV and actually treating me as a patient. From that point everything was great with the rest of my visit. I have no complaints after the first day. I had to stay an extra day due to my infusion not starting Monday. I do not expect to be billed for any portion I would normally owe above what the insurance pays for the first day. As I said, the remainder of my stay was uneventful and I have no further complaints. I will recommend this facility to anyone in need of the services you offer.
