They were horrible! I was Overmedicated, the first 3 weeks. On the 8th of August I was in dire need of a bathroom and was ignored for 20 minutes so I got in the wheelchair that was left for me but the legs we NOT LOCKED and it rolled away and I landed on my broken femur and got badly hurt. They X-rayed me and said that nothing was wrong and yet on September 20, I cannot put weight on my left leg. They also went through my drawers and took my case with ALL of my home medications and I had to threaten them with the police before they admitted that they had been taken by them. They ran out of my medication the last night that I was there and I went to the charge nurse to get my pain medication and it was missing from the bag that they had stolen from me and the medicine morphine was not there!!! They tried to discharge me without my pain medication so I once again told the charge nurse that I would call the police if they didn’t find them and “boom” a 1/2 hour later, one of the staff showed up and said that she had hidden them somewhere else, once I knew where they were!! There’s PLENTY more but I’m tired if complaining but I was not just constipated to the point of being impacted so they gave me gloves and a couple packets of Vaseline and ignored me as I screamed for almost 2 hours ripping a softball size ball of concrete out of my rectum bleeding and cutting myself on the edges and STILL wouldn’t give me any more than a 1/2 a capful of Mirilax eventually 2times a day, not caring that if they had given me my doctors recommended dose of 2 full capfuls a day I would not have had to get constipated again by the 2nd day after that episode but being sure to ask me every day if I’d had a bowel movement again knowing full well that I have Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis long before I was admitted!
The PT and OT staff was quite good there’s plenty more of tell if you’d be willing to listen to anymore!! THEY WERE HORRIBLE!!!

This is one of the cleanest and nicest facilities in the area. They offer the best therapy services in the valley for patients who have suffered an illness or traumatic event. Nice smiling staff and the food was wonderful!

I work closely with Springtree as I am a home care coordinator for Interim Home health. I go into most all facilities in the Roanoke valley and when families ask me where I recommend Springtree is at the top of the list. Springtree provides the friendliest, warmest environment and the halls are filled with people who truly care. The facility is beautiful, and the care is excellent. Once we receive patients for services from Springtree they rave about the rehab they had, and their wonderful experience. Springtree always offers a helping hand.

Part of my job as Sales Manager is to market our community to Nursing Facilities. I am consistently impressed with the staff, resident care and physical appearance at Springtree. Christi Chapman and Casey Ballard are so easy to work with. I enjoy visiting with them and they always go the extra mile when it comes to transferring a resident to our Assisted Living. I have also really enjoyed working with Joseph Park in joint Business Development Events. In addition to that when our residents need to go to a nursing facility for Skilled services and they choose Springtree, I know they will be well cared for, and I always get good reports!

The therapists were all wonderful. Most of the nursing staff was okay. The food was awful. The doctor seemed very uneducated and had very poor bedside manner. Change the food and doctor and it would be the best around. I use to work in a few, so I know.

Not really, I've never seen them go above and beyond
