Dr. Leitner is like the magical chiropractor. He can just look at you and see what is wrong when you walk in the door. He is gentle, effective and dedicated to getting you better. Most chiropractors try and get you to come weekly or at some set schedule to help their business, but Dr. Leitner's goal is to get you fixed. He is also naturopathic and looks at overall issues that could be affected. He usually does some local therapeutic massage prior to adjustments which I think helps with having any soreness after as muscles are relaxed. I never want to see another Chiropractor besides Dr. Leitner!

My experience with Peter spans more than 15 years of snowboarding injuries, a car accident, and just general 'tune-ups' following big international business and personal trips. My wife. an RN, describes him as a 'medical intuitive, so skilled is he at understanding your needs. Sadly, I've relocated to Seattle, but I'll still return any chance I can get in to see Peter when I'm passing through Portland during business hours. Never once in all the years did I feel like his recommendation on when to return was excessive. After the car accident was the only time he recommended 3 visits in one week, and I was tempted to go everyday! Usually he just said come back when you feel you need to, so generally it was every 6-8 weeks. I can't recommend Peter Leitner highly enough!
