My husband had a diabetic foot sore on the bottom of his foot for several years, Although several Dr.'s tried to do what they thought was best. there was never any progress in healing. Dt Cohen recognised what the problem was. He did surgery and now my husband's foot is healed. Such a blessing!!
Thank you Dr Cohen

After 4 treatments with the pinpoint laser that is used for nail fungus, my nails look the same, if not worse. It is advertised as "hyper blue"; it is NOT. It is a laser treatment which heats the nail and supposedly kills the fungus. In addition to the treatment, I was told I needed to apply their specific nail polish...indefinitely. My nails DO NOT look better. I definitely suggest NOT trying this treatment as it did nothing for me but make me over 500 dollars poorer!!

I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. I've already told my friends and family about the fantastic experience I had there. They were one of the best podiatrists I have ever met. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. I was worried that they were going to wear an obnoxious cologne, because I've dealt with that at other places, but they didn't even wear cologne. It was fantastic to be able to breathe freely the entire time.I have been going to Dr. Cohen, for sometime now, regarding my feet. He has been very good to me. He did a plantar wart removal for me a few years ago. I had great results and the wart has not returned. Recently, I had been experiencing extreme pain under my toe nails due to a fungus which was preventing me from working. Once again I called on Dr. Cohen for a solution. He had me visit him at his Gulfport office, I live about 265 miles away but was glad to make the trip because he told me of a new lazer procedure he had available at his office.
Once the treatment began I could feel immediate results. It had a warming sensation that seemed to soothe the itching and burning I had been experiencing for so long. After the procedure was completed I determined that my pain level decreased from a 7 to a 1 overnight, which was amazing for me.

My appointment with Dr. Cohen was scheduled for 4 o'clock. When I checked in there were no less than 20 people in the waiting room. Keep in mind, also, that there is only one doctor in the facility. Firstly, I was frustrated because they were unable to find my referral. I had it faxed to their office 2 weeks prior, and confirmed that it was there. The receptionist made a phone call to the back area where insurance is processed. The office said that they didn't have it. They sent a tech back to check again. When he returned he told me that it was not there. One final tech went back and returned with the referral...20 minutes later. Throughout this time, all of the techs were yelling to eachother across the lobby about the condition of each of the patients that were currently being taken care of. As a hospital employee myself, I knew that this was absolutely a HIPAA violation. When I was finally called back (one and a half hours later) I was taken into a room with another patient. Our exam chairs were facing each other, and there was no partition in between. She and I both had our symptoms, diagnosis and treatment discussed in front of each other, again, with no regard to HIPAA regulations. I received x-rays from a tech who was CLEARLY not qualified for the job. I am an x-ray tech, myself, and I know that the images he took were not standard x-ray images. He also practiced improper technique when making his exposures. I was given steroid injections, even though I refused them. I first asked if the injection was going to be safe as I am still breastfeeding. He was unsure, so he looked it up on his phone. When he was unable to find a satisfactory answer, he continued to draw up the steroid anyway. The tech in the room at the moment and I both said that it probably wasn't necessary, and that I would try the orthotics and sleeping boots they had given me and that we could re-assess at the next appointment. He proceeded to inject me anyway. As he was preparing for the other foot, I told him that I did not want the injection, and he obliged temporarily, but ultimately injected me anyway. He did not prepare my foot for the injections with any kind of alcohol. He also did not wear gloves for my injections or my examination. I was also later informed that the wait had been so long because, in an attempt to make up fir the holidays that week, Dr. Cohen scheduled 40 patients betweek 2:30 and 6:00 that evening. This clinic is absolutely unprofessional and I would NOT recommend it.

I have had to go back at least six times for the same toe. Though it is not TO painful it is still a bother. Not only that, but he is a little rude, and looks messy. I have been there so many times, the nurses recognize me yet he asks if this is my first time every single time. Every time he tells me that it shouldn't come back, but it does. The ingrowns stay away for about 6 months before reappearing. If there was another place I knew of I would go but sadly this is the only.

I took my son to see Dr.Cohen, for a very painful red infected ingrown. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Doc was wonderful and explained everything to my son and I. He sprayed the toe with a cold spray and my son said," I don't hardly feel the shot." He was completely numb when the doctor did the surgery. The staff explained how to take care of it and he had no pain after the surgery. We will be going back to Dr.Cohen if we have anymore foot problems.
