Great Doctor! I've been going to him for about 3 years now and have never had any issues. He's extremely flexible with my busy schedule as I'm a mother to 2 young kids and work full time. His assistant is very welcoming and I always look forward to seeing her!! If you're looking for a new Doctor I highly recommend making an appt. with him.

Dr Bhanver is a dedicated psychiatric professional and his office staff is responsive and helpful. I have always been able to contact Dr Bhanver when needed outside of scheduled appointments. In today's world of health system run care, Dr. Bhanver's quick response to inquiries and the fact that he personally returns calls, stands out as attentive and personalized care. I highly recommend Dr Bhanver's practice to those seeking a psychiatric professional. In times when any one of us is seeking this specific medical support, working with a supportive psychiatrist is of utmost importance. Dr. Bhanver delivers high-quality, personalized care.

My Addendum to my previous review:
Dr. Bhanver MD is a total fraud, I had a review here and on His Google Plus page, he has since removed the review because he knows its the truth. He betrayed the very thing he was supposed to hold dear, his hippocratic oath, he violated Patient Doctor Conventionality not once but twice. Dr.Bhanver sent the police to my door on 9/4/2014 claiming I was missing my appointments even after I signed a document stating that I wish to be discharged, with claims of that I was suffering from mass paranoia, and not taking my meds, as well as sexually harassing his clients with no evidence to back his claims. Detective Smith of the Reno PD came to my door with a fellow officer to speak to me about 2 complaints. One from Bhanver himself and one claiming to be anonymous... After speaking with a case worker from the Nevada Mental Health, I was able to show and prove that this doctor filing false reports out of spite, due to a falling out on opinion on my treatment, and his lack of bully ethics. I am now in the care of a far better Facility that provides not just medication adjustment, but one on one therapy to which I was trying to get a referral from Dr.Bhanver. During the brief visit from the Reno PD along with Detective Smith and the Case manager from the Nevada mental health, they were able to determine that I was perfectly fine, and this was just a case of Dr.Bhanver throwing a proverbial fit over the falling out, proving this man is again a bully. If a lawsuit is filed on or against me, I will have the District Attorney's office subpoena all those bad reviews he had removed from the internet, as well his many attempts to remove my review of his professional behavior. It is my personal opinion that if you choose this doctor, that your experience may be different, but question him and you see exactly what I am referring to. I would like to thank the Reno Police Dept, as well as Detective Smith and the Nevada mental health for being so polite and being genuinely concerned for my well being. I plan on sending a thank you letter to Detective Smith for looking out for me, he has always been so friendly and compassionate in my well being. On Friday October 17th, he called my building manager and divulged the exact same info he said to the police.. Due to this I could be facing eviction. He violated the Patient Doctor confidentiality, and I am currently working with the District attorney with the goal of having him sanctioned or the removal of his licence. I have proof of these deeds, the manager of the building I live in has stated to back me up, as well as the Detective now handling this case. Please Stay away from this Doctor, he is a bully and power hungry and he has been harassing me, with the intent on using my very fears I confessed to him against me.. He has deleted his Google+ account due to my review of him, he has tried to remove my review several times in the past. This man is malicious and dangerous.. I expect to have his licence suspended or revoked... He has made this very personal, and I will soon see him in court..

Dr Bhanver, is one of those doctors who is in it for the payday. He treats his patients as cattle, the visits are short, and he lacks proper bedside manner. He is brash, and sometimes rude. The visits are anywhere between 5-10 mins, he doesn't particularly listen, he has a more observe style, and doesn't seem to care when I spoke up about something. From doing some digging, I found he got his medical degree in India, and was or is a Doctor at a California State mental hospital.. Those places are hell on earth. I put up with all this for a year or so because he was reasonable enough to trust me on what meds I knew that worked and didn't. It was a process that took quite a long time, although he could of retrieved my medical records from my previous facility to where I was a patient most of my life.. But he was unconcerned, and was not interested my medical history.. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone. Please find a facility that also has one on one, or group therapy.. This doctor does non of those things, nor does he make any recommendations..
