ok I had surgery on Dec 9.2015 at eastside hospital  .. ok the whole thing started at 615am a dr Tario hakky came into my room he was very nice at first . now he tells me what he thing is going on and gave me 3 choices that I had . well 1  is to drain it . 2 was to go inside and see what was going on . 3 operation . well he told me I had to make one of those choices by 630 am which to me wasn't enough time to make a decision so he kind of look like he was getting upset .. but he said ok ill be back at 630am and u have to make your mind up . so I talk to my mom about what she thinks I should do .. she said operation so I said ok ..  so I call him back in and then that's when he started getting real cocky  like u can drain it our operation . but if u get operation u have to follow back up with my office but made it sound like cause u don't have insurance I should go with the first option which if I did I would not have the one testicle  that I do have now so I go on December 17 for my follow up treatment to pull out the tube for my testicle  and deal with the front desk person Kimberly who ask me to fill out some paper work and I do after about an hour she tells me it will be 350.00 I said ma am  I don't have insurance nor do I have that kind of money oh she said well I have to clear it with my office manger I “m like ok I m in pain with a tube in my testicle  and you have to check with the office manger not the doctor wow. She then came back like 15 min later and was like well you surgery was 1000 and the visit is 350.00 were are going to need the 350.00 or you cant see the doctor. At this point im upset cause I have a tube in me and I have no one who will help me with it. So I decide to go to the er at eastside medical center cause I don't know what else to do. I was seen by a doctor who was the most nicest person whom really cared about what was going on . I was so great full that someone was going to help me. She told me she was going to call the doctor and get to the bottom of it. She got ahold of Dr. Patel and he told her to tell me he was sorry about the way the staff acted and that I could come back to the office and they would do it. So I was released from the hospital and went to the office some different lady was at the front desk this time I said hello we were told to meet doctor patel here . Oh she said in a smug face I remember you the one with no insurance . Hold on as she got up Mr Hakky came from behind the counter and gave me a hand jester for me to come back so I did I got to the room now mind you I haven't even set down on a table for him to look at it or nothing  drop your pants so I did and he took a pair of scissors and cut the string out and pulled the tube out. Then what he said next really dumbfounded  after I pulled my pants up he said oh are you coming back to see me again I looked at the other person in the room and he was like well come back when you have some insurance wow really ok Come back so I can be treated like an animal off the street I don't think so never in my life have I been treated like some kind of animal off the street because I didn't have insurance. There are people who cant afford it and its not like Obama care is helping anyone out with the insurance payments. Was there ever a time when you could not afford health insurance in your life and were you treated like you were less of a person.

They are fantastic at returning my calls right away. They were very polite and courteous to all of their patients. I was very impressed with the equipment they were using. It looks very high-tech and sophisticated. They just moved to a brand new building with very convenient parking. I found a spot literally within seconds, and it was right next to the entrance. The staff was very polite to me, and I could tell that they really cared about all of their patients, and didn’t just treat them like numbers. They didn’t rush my appointment at all, and made sure every question I had was answered before I left.
I felt very good about my experience with Dr. Patel and his office and I would recommend him to anyone needing urology help.

Dr. Patel is one of the most respectful, courteous doctors I've been to. Not only was he able to provide everything he promised, he discovered a health issue that no other doctor had ever diagnosed me with before. He is amazing and I honestly can't thank him enough for everything he did for me.

Just a warning, they do not adhere to the customer is always right policy no matter what the situation is. They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them instead of trying to correct the situation. That's just bad business. They were extremely late to all my appointments. I always had to wait over an hour for them to show up. When comparing them to others in their field, I would say they are by far the worst I have ever seen. I will never return. There are times when I've been there, that I feel like they're favoring certain clients. It's not all the time, but I don't appreciate it when it happens. I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.

saw Dr. Patel and was thoroughly disappointed with the entirety of my visit. First, I scheduled an appointment and had to wait over an hour. Then when I finally saw him, Dr. Patel could not diagnose me so he then recommended a variety of invasive, expensive treatments. My dad is a family doctor and was puzzled by his recommendations for such invasive treatments for a 25 year old. Dr. Patel also said he would call my dad and explain his diagnosis but failed to do so. My dad wanted to get a second opinion from a urologist he knew. I saw him and he prescribed some medication, which solved my issue. Dr. Patel recommended unnecessary treatments just so he could bill and enormous amount to my insurance and myself. The bill for my checkup was over 700 dollars as well, which after following up with other urologists to compare prices, was grossly inaccurate. Overall, I would Dr. Patel is an immoral crook who is only looking out for himself when seeing you. I strongly recommend not seeing him. He seems like a nice guy at first glance but is really looking for a more of a profit than helping and treating you.

He overcharges you for a simple checkup as well. He charged me over 700 dollars to myself and my insurance. He also recommended unnecessary invasive treatments that would cost me even more money had I not got a second opinion. I saw another urologist and he recommended that I take some prescribed medication, which fixed the problem. This guy does not care about your well being but only cares about making the most amount of money. I strongly recommend you do not see this guy as you will not get good service and you will be overpaying for it as well.
