I could have called one of dozens of therapists and stumbled across many who would have been less than perfect matches with what I needed. But that didn’t happen. When therapy became a necessary component of my recovery, a random search for care givers in the Annapolis area resulted in over one hundred hits. I scanned the list trying to glean any iota of insight about whom to all. I found Francesca Richardson’s name on the list and recognized her office’s address as a place I had driven past before. Because of that, and only that, I called her number.

Twenty-three months later I am happy and believe in myself and have an inner peace and confidence that hadn’t been there before. She was warm and gentle and kind and this combination allowed me to open up and explore the quagmire that filled the space between my ears. She guided me through the conflicts and misconceptions I created and showed me how to resolve them by allowing them to exist without allowing them to define me or govern what I said or did.

Throughout the journey she led me on, I grew to like, and then love, myself and begin to experience the oneness that binds and connects us all – and that binds and connects us to everything in the universe. I now feel as if a rosebud, slowly and surely unfolding, one petal at a time, to become whole, joyous, and free.

I recommend Francesca to anyone who struggles with who they are and has self-esteem and self-worth issues and all of us who at one time or another lose contact with humanity and nature and life itself.

She turned my inner potential into inner power and strength that now flow and support a new and improved me.

I wish Francesca Richardson was the first therapist I had gone to years ago. She helped me more in a year and a half than any other counselor I have ever seen over the years.

Every single time, even if it's been months since my last appointment!!
Was there annoying music playing while you waited or during your visit?
No, if they had music on it was very soothing
Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call?
Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

Never, they go out of their way to address every concern of mine immediately
Is this provider willing to pursue advice from other providers when necessary?
Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary
Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
No, they've never taken personal calls with me
Did you feel like this provider's office was understaffed?
No, they were fully staffed
How would you compare this provider to others in his/her field that you have visited?
Among the best I have seen
