No Jamie Greene, you're the joke. Do you have any idea how painful and damaging it can be to manually express (squeezing) a cat's bladder if a doctor is suspecting stones? This doctor was keen to the fact that your cat was in pain and therefore irritable and hissing as a result. He took your cat's well being into consideration making a decision to do a less painful procedure. You sound like the money is more important than your cat's comfort. A cystocentesis (or putting a needle in your cat) as you put it, is the safest and least painful way to extract a clean sample of urine without squeezing a painful bladder and causing more discomfort or injury to an already "pissed off cat". I'd gladly pay a little extra for my cat's comfort. It sounds to me like this doctor did everything right and was thinking more about your cat's health and happiness than you do. Next time you try to make a good vet look bad, do your homework first.

I would not recommend this vet by any means. I brought my cat in because I suspected she had a UTI. He refused to express urine from her bladder because she was "upset"... she was fine just hissing a little like any cat would. Then his excuse was that he wasn't going to do it because he was afraid she had a kidney stone.... I don't know how he came to this conclusion when the exam that he charged me 45 dollars for only consisted of him listening to her heart... He wouldn't even come in to speak with me or hear my concerns about the proposed 324.00 bill .. he set one of the female vet techs in as his patsy to take the heat instead of himself... he's a coward and he treated my family and cat as if we were just a wallet. I ended up pay 75 dollars for an antibiotic and an exam.... without any conclusion that my cat had a UTI or not. He automatically wanted to charge for the most expensive way to get the urine (putting a needle!!! in my cat)....... ridiculous... all of their proposals were over charged and ridiculous. DO NOT take your animal here. They are a joke.

The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out. Their prices were very fair. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding. I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy.
