Seriously am so disappointed in this department at Norton, when I have so much more success with other Norton Departments.
I truly hope this review saves a lot of people from wasting their time with this department.

I likely have a torn rotator cuff, which is why I need to be seen by an Ortho doctor. The last few YEARS my rheumatologist, my neurologist, my primary care physician, and now my physical therapist have all insisted I need to be checked out by an orthopedic surgeon.

I made an appnt online on MyChart with an ortho at Norton.
Well, I just received a call from this office asking that I change the doctor I originally scheduled with online, because Dr. Joshua Christensen doesn't want to see a patient with previous surgery on the joint. I was advised to go back to the original doctor who operated 5 years ago back in Lexington, or see another doctor in his office, Dr. Nyagon G Duany because I saw her years ago.
I explained that I didn't want to see Dr Duany because she wasn't helpful and kept insisting that I go back to the original surgeon and that she couldn't do anything for me.
I also explained (again) that my original surgeon IS NO LONGER WORKING AT UK hospital or any other hospital in my network. How am I supposed to see a doctor that is no longer around????

So this now makes TWO orthopedic doctors in the same office at Norton who refuse to help me because I was previously operated on by another doctor!!!

They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.

It is impossible to get an appointment at their office. They are always booked and have a long waiting list. They left me completely alone for a long time and I became very nervous. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. They were aweful, and misdiagnosed me twice!!!!! Don't go!!

The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Their equipment was very advanced and sophisticated. I was very impressed.
