I needed someone who also does root work and she did some very complex stuff.

I was positively impressed with this dentist because health care in USA is generally of lower quality than in Western Europe.

As a European I do not trust American doctors as they always have "general" practitioner and then if there is more to do you have to go to a "specialist". This is a very ridiculous process from an European perspective designed to extort money and waste patients' time. Mrs. Tailor studied and worked in Leeds, UK and thus has more indepth knowledge and practice than other "general" dentists I have seen in USA. I am very grateful I didn't need to go to a "specialist" to have root canal work done in one place without waste of time and money. (In Europe root canals are done by a dentist and only extreme cases are "specialist" cases.)

Her waiting room is very comfy, everything is clean and not run down like I have seen in 99% of doctors' practices in USA. From a personal standpoint Mrs. Tailor is easy to connect and shows she really cares. She certainly will take all time needed to do the work. From her attitude I can tell she is a dentist because she loves it not because she wants to cash in on patients' misery, meaning , if you go here you'll not be seen as a milking cow or a number.

I have a Careington plan (discount program for dentists) which is accepted in this practice and I know that payment plans might be arranged in some cases.

In response to Tony's review I was sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience at Tailor- Made Smiles, over 2 years ago.
I always strive to give each patient a thorough evaluation of all their teeth and gums, and inform them of their needs. Paperwork about informed consent is simply a way to educate patients about risks and benefits of procedures and allow patients to ask questions. I would have been happy to address your concerns in person. We do inform patients of fees prior to procedures in order to avoid surprises later on. I am sorry if you perceived this as being a salesperson. Most patients are very apprecative of being fully informed about their dental health, needs, treaatment options and costs.
Your need for a root canal was not there during the time you were a patient at this office, and was discussed as a future possibility. Had the need arisen, I would have been ready to perform your root canal, however I do not believe in overtreating teeth.

This dentist is a high pressure sales person. I needed a root canal. After she found out that I had insurance she talked me into having several fillings replaced, applied an antibiotic to my gums and stained my bottom front teeth. After two visits and receiving unnecessary work I had to go to another dentist to get the root canal that I needed. During the second visit. She was in the middle of working on me she left the room and returned with papers that she asked me to sign in the middle of the procedure. Like an idiot I signed these papers that stated I understood she may damage my teeth and that I understood and approved any work that she performed. I trusted this health care professional and she took advantage of me. The fillings fell out, my bottom teeth are stained, I was charged a thousand dollars over what my insurance covered and I had to pay someone else to do a root canal. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!

It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. Before they even scheduled my treatment, they went over in detail all their different payment plans and exactly how much my procedure would cost. It was nice knowing exactly how much I was going to have to pay beforehand. Let me just say that this business is in one of the safest areas around and you will be pleasantly surprised at how lovely and modern the equipment was. There is even a medical doctor in the same location. I was impressed with their professionalism. They were so kind and attentive to me.
