I have be going to Dr. Horwitz for years. She has always gone "above and beyond" to make sure that everything was as close to spectacular as possible.

I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something.. I felt that they really valued my health and happiness because they spent so much time talking with me and taking care of me. Dr. Horwitz is an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care.

When choosing an optometrist there are many providers listed in advertisement, insurance websites and reviews. I used these resources to find Dr. Roberta Horwitz’s Eye Care for You office. I was highly satisfied with my visit from start to finish based on the high level of service, expertise, and family-based business practice. The office is a newly renovated space that is open and illuminated to showcase the extensive selection of eyeglass frames. Debbie, the office manager, was warm and friendly and efficiently got me checked in with health information.

I then met with Dr. Horwitz for an informative and thorough eye examination. It did not just involve the standard routine; but included comparison to past prescriptions, explanation of your field of vision, and diagnostic tools to insure overall optic health. She ensured that all of my questions and concerns were addressed before we moved onto frame selection.

Entering a large wall of frames can initially be intimidating, but I was pleasantly surprised when the entire office staff assisted me in choosing a pair of frames I would love for years to come. Dr. Roberta Horwitz chose 6 frames that she thought showcased my face and even helped steer me out of my comfort zone into shapes and colors that I normally would not have chosen. Debbie then helped my narrow down my selection to 3 frames as she continued her daily tasks. Lastly Julia, Roberta’s mother, emerged from the back office to help me make the final decision. I was pretty sure I knew which pair I liked the most but Julia confirmed my instinct. I have not had this level of service and assistance in over 25 years (I was a kid)!

I picked up my new eyeglasses in a timely fashion and we ensured that they fit well, vision was clear, and that I was highly satisfied with my purchase. This experience was so positive that I recommended my partner to get his new eyeglasses and exam from Roberta. His prescription is much more complex to fill, but he too was astounded at the quality of care, truly Eye Care for You! We both highly recommend her practice, office, and expertise. We surely will be her happy patients for years to come!

The exams are so much better than other optometrists I've been to. The exam was thorough and she explained everything. I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when she told me about what she learned at the conferences that she had recently attended, and how that affected me and my eye condition.
I was very impressed with the level of knowledge that they had about different types of contacts. Unlike elsewhere, the doctor took time to explain my options and then we discussed which would work best for me - both in terms of my lifestyle and my budget.
Her selection of glasses was wonderful. She has very stylish/designer glasses along with the more ordinary glasses. We really spent a while discussing the pros and cons of different lenses and different coatings. She told me tthat she takes classes on the latest in lens technologies, where the brands and types of lenses are compared and contrasted. We even talked about getting the right lenses to fit my specific needs - as I spend a lot of time on the computer and playing sports. Also, her prices are quite reasonable.
It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and they were able get me in quickly.
Her new office is sooooooooo welcoming. Even though I had never been to her before, I felt like I was being welcomed into her home. It is that comfortable. Unlike many doctors' offices, many of her patients talk to each other while waiting - and even ask each other for opinions on which glasses to get. I really enjoyed the experience.
Finally, I should report that I can now see better than I have seen in a long time. I have less eye and neck strain since I got special glasses for my time on the computer. My prescription for my regular glasses also has me seeing better than I have had in years.
