I had a colonoscopy procedure 5 years ago with Dr. Taylor and an scheduled for another in 2 days. I was surprised by the other review listed here. Unlike that experience, mine was about as pleasant as a colonoscopy can be (enough said). Dr. Taylor and his staff are very caring and friendly. The procedure was explained to me any all questions I had were fully answered. The procedure is preformed under sedation and was not terribly unpleasant. I have vague recollection of some of the actual procedure as the sedation is not like a general anesthesia and I was aware of this going into it. I don't often write reviews but the other one here was rather scathing and anybody approaching this procedure need have no concerns with Dr. Taylor. I am soon to be a repeat customer and anticipate another relatively uneventful experience.

I had the colonscope and endoscope at the same time, the nurse, said I would be in a twighlight sleep, well i was never asleep, i even said after the minute they said the medicne was not working, then she gave me more, the endodcope, i dont remember, but I was awake for the colonscope, i remembered the screen, my blood pressure, me yelling for more medicine, and both nurses ignoring my demands, I was mortified, and if they say, oh she was in amnesia, state she dont remember, bull, i remembered everything, I even walked out on my own 2 feet after, I was mad, and told my Mom and the nurse what happened; in great detail, this was a very bad experience, and I felt my needs were not adressed. The nurses, did not even respond to me whenI yelled for more medicine, they said just breath, it will be over soon. Never< never AGAIN, i AM SO UPSET i CAN THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE, HOW i WAS TREATED.
