I started seeing Fred as a misguided teenager in high school, made to go by my parents until I graduated high school and moved away. As I grew older my life became more and more intricate as marriage and children came into the picture. As I moved back to the area the life challenges started becoming more pronounced and finally I made the decision to reach out to someone for a possible outlet and sounding board for said issues. Immediately Fred came to mind as he had such a positive influence on my life the first time around. I started seeing Fred now with much different issues than as a rebellious teenager had before. He has seen my struggle over years and years and has been my strongest advocate and support but also my biggest cheerleader. I would recommend friend many times over for any situations you may find yourselves or loved ones in.

Fred Sperry holds the highest recommendation from me, with his compassion, his knowledge in methods of treatment, his light sense of humor! He is easy to talk to; both my daughter, and I, (20 years later) have benefited from his care. As a teacher with some knowledge of Psychology, I would recommend Fred to anyone seeking help.

My son has been seeing Frederick Sperry for approx 2 years. Fred creates an atmosphere of comfort and support for both child and parent. His fun personality helps ease the stigma of seeing a counselor. My almost 14 year old son asks when he gets to see Fred. No one else has been able to get my son to open up and talk about some pretty big issues. As a single Mom of a struggling and depressed teenager, Fred has also counseled me and has helped our family grow through some tough times. From impromtu family sessions in the waiting room, to visits with our new kitten or counseling while sharing a pizza, Fred has been a lifesaver. He has an uncanny ability to get to the nitty gritty of life's struggles while maintaining trust and friendship. An answered prayer.

Fred is one of the kindest, most caring therapists I've ever dealt with. It doesn't matter how many times we've called with a question or concern, he is always happy to help. He goes out of his way to make kids and parents feel at ease and relates incredibly well to teens. His office was very easy to locate and very inviting. Fred is Fantastic.
