Made an appointment with this doctor about 2 and 1/2 Weeks ago. I set time aside to take the appointment while I was at work. She emailed me that morning and told me she would send me the link she never sent it. At 11:00 I went on break to take her call sat in my car for about 20 minutes trying to get in touch with her no email no call back no reminder of the fact that later on she says that I didn't do some paperwork. I replied back that I did not receive any paperwork and was not aware of it. She got nasty via text but passively. Then she gave me three different referrals when I let her know specifically that I was not looking for just anyone I wanted a Brown Therapist, but I was blown off. I'm glad I found this website. Is something very strange about a lot of the people in St Petersburg I really don't know what it is but they're not thorough they're extremely grimy more often than not be careful on your search out there

If I could leave no stars I would. I took the step to finally seek help, so being my first time seeking professional help I did not expect to be treated the way I did by Donna Wilson. I emailed her to inquire her help, I received a text which she gave me a date and time for availability. My appointment was a week out. She stated in her text she emailed me the new client paperwork, and to have it filled out and returned. I got the paperwork back right away. In our text, she stated to contact my insurance to know what my Co-Pay would be and if my job offers any additional assistance. She didn't say to reach out to my insurance and then follow up with her, I expected my appointment was set in place.. So....being a week out, i took off work for an hour, was actually very excited to finally be able to speak to someone with how I have been feeling and hoping to be able to have a professional tell me the steps to bettering myself. Whelp!! that is definitely not what happened. The day of the appointment (2 hours before the scheduled appointment), i received a text stating " Hi, may we reschedule for next week" I was very confused but responded " Yes, I can reschedule. But please give me more notice since I took off time from work to meet today". I am assuming this is what ticked her off. Again I am a first time patient of any kind of therapy. I am putting my trust into a professional to be helpful. This is how the conversation goes, " I didn't hear back from you about your insurance, People find other services all the time so I already filled your spot. At this point I was very confused, me contacting my insurance was not part of the time and date I booked with Donna Wilson. I have already provided her my insurance card info and I confirmed my co pay with my insurance. I am unsure why me not following up "in her words" caused me to lose my appointment. I confirmed the date and time and even if my insurance didn't cover this session I would have paid in full. She did not say my appointment will be confirmed once I reach back out, I expected my appointment to be on the date we discussed. Anyways, so she attempted to reschedule for the next week. I said okay, she then said she will call me to explain why its so important for me to set the appointment and follow back up with her to make sure I'm still needing her service?? That is exactly how she painted the picture to me, I needed to follow back up with her after we already booked my appointment. HERE is the best part, she said she will call me at 1:30 to talk about this, she texted me saying she moved someone so I can meet with her at 3:30, explained I can zelle or pay over the phone. This is about 12:45 confirming all of this, she then calls me 15min later. She is basically telling me how this isn't going to work, I didn't follow up after booking my appointment blah blah blah. At this time, I am very confused on her tone, and most of all I was confused that she basically just rescheduled to meet at 3:30 15min prior to this phone call. Before I can even explain my questions, she states "IM NOT GOING TO DO THIS RIGHT NOW" This totally caught me off guard, I was speechless. She said she will refer me to two of her colleagues and that's how the conversation ended. I feel this doctor was very unprofessional, especially for someone like myself that never attempted to seek professional help and this being my first experience. I feel anyone could have truly been triggered by her actions and if they were already at a breaking point, her tone and words could have been devastating for anyone. I have reported her to all platforms, to my insurance company and truly need to let everyone know do not contact this person. She may need to seek professional help or retire if she cannot speak to someone with respect and understand her profession is to help people not treat them worst then they already may be feeling or worst.

The ultimate slap in the face by this "Dr" is when a potential patient calls her to book an appointment, then with no response to that voicemail, a week later gets a text message on my cell phone asking if I have found another provider. Confidentiality and personal touch are clearly not taken into account by her actions here. It takes no effort by a service provider to reach out to someone who took the time and energy to reach out in a time of need to her. I hope no others will pursue psychological services from someone who would not respectfully reach out to them in the same manner. She is very unprofessional.
