I have been seeing Rebecca a while now. She, I feel is wonderful. I feel supported, validated and she has helped me to stand up for myself. She allows me to see how I am in my time and doesn't tell me how I am. Since this is how she counsels I learn and grow quickly. She is working with both my husband and I now and is a great marriage counselor too.

She has also worked with trauma in my life and is superb at this. EMDR is a great tool she uses.

I felt so uncomfortable during my appointment because I could just feel Rebecca judging me. It was not an environment that I felt safe to open up and discuss my issues. It was also worse because she discussed other patients of hers in a gossipy manner with me, and even used their names. I clearly could not trust her! She commented on my weight every appointment as well, and I was not seeing her regarding my weight .At first, I liked Rebecca a lot, but as my trust left I saw that she just liked juicy gossip. I wonder how many people she told my stories to, and how often those stories included my name. Rebecca didn't tell me anything about my treatment options, or my treatment plan. She was never really professional with me...but I sure paid professional rates!

I went to Rebecca after trauma and she helped me address my fears and anxiety. She is very caring and thorough in getting to the heart of the matter. She uses up to date techiques and is professional. I would recommend her for any family and individual issues.

I am not sure who the person was that wrote the previous review, but I couldn't disagree more. I have been seeing Rebecca for over a year for depression, anxiety and marital problems. She has been a savior and a saint. On the verge of a complete marital collapse, Rebecca not only worked with us as a couple, but she even came in on a weekend once for a special session because my world was falling apart. I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Rebecca, I am not sure where I would be. Rebecca referred me to a wonderful psychiatrist when she suspected my medication was wrong, and sure enough it was changed. Rebecca is very professional, tells you when you are out of line, empathetic, and everything you want in a counselor. It's people like Rebecca Currie that make people like me want to get out of bed in the morning and be a good person.
