This company is so fly by night. Smfh. Especially @ their Pottsville office location. They violate the privacy part of the HIPPA law like every 10 mins there. They have a fast turn over for counselors. I've been a patient for 5 yrs now. They went thru close to 10 different counselors in the time I've been there and they only employ 2 counselors in the Pottsville office. Also they do not have a secretary in the Pottsville office. Actually no1 answers the phone there ever. N if u leave a message on the voicemail don't expect a call back ever. The only good thing about the business is the psychiatrist from North Carolina that lives in NC and does tele psych. Dr Morrow

my very fist telephone appt with the psychiatrist a Dr. carol hartberger and a vicky marrow the telephone call was almost an hour late and the lady was very rude. If she was a good psychiatrist you are dealing with people with issues you do not judge anyone or be rude. I explained to the lady to repeat the name of the medication that she was giving me because I could not hear her due to fireworksbeing shot out front. She would not also allow my sam caseworker to be connected on the line. I would not reccommend these two Drs

I agree with every negative comment here, unprofessional, secretary very rude. Cancelled to psych evaluations with me, after the 2nd I was upset cause it would've take another month to hopefully see the psych(hopefully) cause it was cancelled twice and the 2nd cancellation they didn't even had the respect to call me. Got one excuse from the rude unprofessional secretary and a different excuse from a second lady that tried to calm the situation. Instead of calling me about the cancellation, they decided to call the cops on me cause I argued it was inexcusable to cancel twice, admit the fault was on them but still make no effort to get me in quicker than Dec 16 which is 3months after the first cancellation. Unfortunately for them the cops sympathized with, however they banned me from stepping on their property. This is how they treat their clients searching for help. Make excuses then call the cops. NEVER, EVER GO THERE!!
If you're on state insurance there are other places that accept it.

I called and needed help for my daughter. She has special needs and I didn't know where to turn. I was told by my insurance company to call ACE. They were really helpful and I was able to get an appointment for my daughter within a week, which was impossible at all the other places that I called. The doctor was great too!

Horrible. The secretary is rude and gossips right in front of clients. The company is poorly ran and doesn't care about the patients needs. They can't keep employees and you have a new therapist every few months. I am smarter than the person who provided me with services. The Dr charges for 15 mins and keeps you no more than 3 minutes!

I have been to several other providers in the area and ACE is great! They take medicare and really try to accommodate your needs. They have handicap access in the front and back of the building, so BARTA can drop you off at both. They have a strict medication policy and do not want people just coming in for medicine. That is good, because I went to a doctor in Reading who would just give out prescriptions without even knowing your name. I can see where the staff get frustrated because some of the clients are really rude. I have read the reviews on this site and do not agree. The negative reviews must be done by people who did not comply with treatment or wanted their benzos!
