Been taking my pets there for over 25 years.
Find them to be the best, very caring for your pet and understanding how it affects you when something is wrong. The only time I would go anywhere else is if it was after hours and a emergency.

My daughter's dachshund injured his back and was unable to walk. The emergency vet told her that he had to be put to sleep. I encouraged her to get him a script for steriods & pain medication, and get a second opinion. Someone she works with recommended Locke Taylor. They have a treatment plan for dogs with back injuries- it works! The treatment plan takes about 6 weeks (no surgery), but within 3 weeks Calvin was back up running around. A year later, Calvin is doing wonderfully! I cannot recommend these vets highly enough. Their prices are very reasonable, they are compassionate, and they truly love their patients. : )

I have been taking my dog to Dr Taylor's practice going on 5 years and have found all the personnel to be caring, professional, and very knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, the office is busy at times and perhaps people may not get seen exactly at their appointment time, but rest assured you will be seen and receive excellent care. I have called several times trying to get a same day appointment with no success, but each time I was told that I could walk in and my pet would be seen, I did and was never turned away. I find the atmosphere of the office to be enjoyable, yes, some pets do bark but for the most part the pets waiting to be seen are quiet and friendly. I read one review concerning lost records, I have not encountered that situation and have requested and received my dog's record dating back to when Dr Taylor's office began seeing my dog. My dog was a rescue dog and had one other owner since rescue and Dr Taylor's office provided complete records of care received at his office. I have no problem recommending Dr Taylor's office, the only detractor for someone else using Dr Taylor's services would be a matter of their home location to Dr Taylor's office, as this is not a problem for me since I find the excellent care my dog receives is well worth the drive despite the traffic conditions.

Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I appreciated that they were still concerned about my health even after I left the office. They followed up with me after my appointment and everything. Their office was a little too loud. It wasn't unbearably loud but it was starting to hurt my ears. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They gave me sufficient information to make a decision about my treatment plan.
