I visited Permian Basin Emergency Veterinary Clinic when my Puppy jumped out of my friend's arm as he was holding her and she hurt her right leg when she landed. She was limping , and it happened on a Saturday evening. I was worried because I could not find anything open on Saturday and Sunday. They did an X - ray and placed a splint on my puppy's right leg so she can get around without harming the injured leg. Our regular vet clinic is not open until Monday. I am glad that there is something within Midland Odessa area that I could take my dog if she has any health emergency.

I just left this office. It's 2am, way past the bedtime of most vets in this area. My pug Stevie was experiencing heavy disorientation and I was scared to death she had been poisoned somehow. I brought her over and was welcomed by a very kind nurse who took my puppie's temperature and made us feel at home. The doctor explained our options to us, was very knowledgable, and gave us a professional outlook of what could be wrong with her. By the time we made it to the vets office Stevie seemed like she was feeling better so she advised that while she could take blood work, the toxin may have already passed (Stevie had vomited on the way over). We decided to take her back home and pray a night's rest would get we back to normal. After we made our decision to leave, she explained to us the payment was $150, which I was more than willing to pay for a group that sacrifices their nights to look at sick animals. I'm thankful for them. Thanks guys, I'll sleep better tonight knowing Stevie was looked at by you guys.

I had called this office to see if they could help me with a cat that had been attacked by a dog. After listening to what I had said they said I had to pay before services could be rendered. I explained to them that without emergency vet care the animal would die. They said that without payment the animal would be better off out of its misery. After hearing this I would not send or refer anyone to this clinic. I am used to vet clinics back home where they see the animal first and give you a bill at the end of treatment. Animals are living to and deserve the same treatment as us.

They didn't display their qualifications. It made me nervous. I was given a polite greeting when I walked in. It was nice to be acknowledged. Their office was clean enough, but reeked of bleach. I almost turned around because I was sure I must have passed their office, but to my surprise it was just really inconveniently located. They could work on improving their level of customer service here. It wasn't the worst that I have seen, but overall I left unimpressed. The Vet was kind and knowledgable, but the tech was incredibly rude and acted annoyed that I asked 2 questions. She also seemed scared of my big dog, who is a sweety, so perhaps she is
In the wrong field! I will look for a different vet if we have another emergency.

I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. I've never seen a vet be more careful or gentle than they were with my pet. My pet felt so much better when we left. They almost always have a promotion or special going on. Whether its a complimentary consultation for new clients or a percent-off a certain service, I always get some sort of discount.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. I was pretty surprised with how far away this business was from everything. Excellent service, excellent! It is expensive though. However, there is a credit card you can apply for to pay it over 6 months.
They saved my dog's life. Thank you!
