I am writing this review upon reading a review posted by Squeeze... I had a very similar experience. Dr. Dale Fischbach, DVM Meadowrun Animal Hospital , Brandon, Fl. My experience mirrors (Squeeze's)

I would have traveled from Georgis once or twice a year @ double price if I would have had to just to see Dr. Fischbach esp. If it would've been a life threatening matter, he was 1 of the most knowledgable & skilled vets in Florida . The new group will never hold a candle to the Doc and his staff. Unfortunately people do retire the Doc was there a cpl if days a week but he had a very serious accident they had made him unable to walk for quite sometime so not sure if he does that now. U can call them and ask schedule for him only if he's not there
at all, YOU NEED TO RUN FAST AND FIND ANOTHER VETERINARIAN. DOUBT WE'LL EVER FIND 1 LIKE HIM THO. BUT IF YOU LIVE NEAR TAMPA

I have been going to Dr. Fischbach for almost 20 years. I love Dr. Fischbach for his expertise and manner. The new bunch of "professionals" leave a lot to be desired. I always have the feeling that I am an inadequate pet owner after being there any more. I am doing what I think is right for my pets but I get snarky comments about grooming and care. I do what I can and what my pets will allow me to do. I really don't need a bunch of "experts" condescending to me. I had my dog in there in April for the whole teeth cleaning work-up and she died this morning (mid July) from what I suspect was congestive heart failure. I have no respect for Meadowrun and I give two stars because Dr. Fischbach is a great vet. The rest can go to hell.

My 2 "babies" (Brutus & Maizey) have been with Doc for 4+ years; we have moved away from Brandon to north Tampa area and I still take my babies to see Dr. Fischbach and the staff at Meadowrun. Everyone there has always treated us like we were their only patients.
