I acquired a dog. The paperwork came with her and they had told me that this vet Rasmussen had given her heartworm tablets because she had heartworm. That did not sound right to me. I decided to treat her with alternative care rather than the standard injections because of her age. I called this vet to order her preventative medicine and first the girl said she could not find the file and the tag number that I read to her off her collar belonged to a cat. Nice. She said the vet was not in. I called back in a week and she still could not find a file for her. The vet gets on the phone and starts screaming at me that she needed to be tested immediately! Her year was not up yet. I started explain that she tested positive when he saw her and he kept yelling saying that she can't have the preventative medicine becausee she tested positive. I told him that HE was the one who gave her the first six months of preventatvie medicine.
He ignored what I said and told me that I did not care about my pet and that I needed to bring her in immediately for injections! Something is very wrong with this man. I read the other review and understood. He apparently treats animals at PETCO is where I believe they took her. Please do not leave the room when this man treats your animal and I would get a second opinion before letting him treat unless it's an obvious emergency.

Thank you Angel Vet Express. The staff here is truly one of the most loving and caring group of people we have ever encountered in the veterinarian field. My wife and I were faced with a rather difficult situation, we were to fly to California but could not afford to take our two dogs. so it seemed our options were either abandon our 2 schipperke's or drop them off at a shelter. neither option was a good one. We were told that through a very generous and loving organization that we could get low cost vet checks for both of our dogs. when we arrived at Angel Vet Express we were greeted as though we were long time customers (first time there) we explained our situation and she knew everything already. So here we are me, wife, and 2 dogs thanks to the outstretched hand of Angel Vet Express and the organization that donated the cost of the visit, shots, and health cert so we could fly with our dogs. Once we are back on our feet you can be sure that we will be sending a donation.

I took my dog in to be neutered. While I was trying to get "checked in" at drop off time Gary (I think he's the owner) did nothing but yell at the staff to clean inane things WHILE the shop was packed with customers. He also didn't listen to a word I said and kept insisting that I have vaccinations done that I had just done at a different clinic because he didn't believe me that they had been done. I'm pretty sure that man has some sort of god-complex or is mentally ill.
The short blonde high school girl has no idea what she's talking about and couldn't have been more condescending or stupid.

The rest of the staff either seemed overworked or just rude. The only person that actually tried to help me was the quiet brunette (with the short bangs) behind the counter. She got yelled at to clean fingerprints off the doors while trying to answer a few questions for me. Thanks "Angels", I'll stick to the higher prices next time. I prefer service from trained staff, not bullshit and additional costs for unnecessary items.

I will NOT return to this establishment. Everything Gary said seemed rehearsed and he ignored my insisting NO that I didn't want extras on the bill.
