I had such a great experience at Ohio Valley Optimal Healthcare. Dr. Nardone and his staff got me back on my feet and out of pain so quickly. The unique combination of medical, physical therapy, and chiropractic got rid of my low back pain quicker than any method I've tried in the past.

I was warned by several people not to visit this chiropractor but because I was in sooo much pain and because a friend had shared a similar story as mine (terrible pain, needed a quick shot/fix, got one, went on their way), I stopped in. I WILL ADMIT, I made the CRUCIAL mistake: NOT asking what the fee would be for my initial visit. How much could it be, $25? $50 at the most? After sharing my back pain-story with an assistant, I saw Dr. Nardone who asked me the same questions (where's the pain? Is this work related? Were you in a car accident? etc.), I was given an ice pack and electo-stimulator to ease pain (which didn't help). I spent about 20 minutes total with people on staff (the rest Waiting) and was charged $200.00 for 45 minutes!! As a medical friend tells me, "I was financially raped." I set up an appt. to get an xray ($140.00), then came back for a 3rd visit for the results. I was shown an xray that I doubt was mine (friends warned me about this; according to xray, I have scoliosis and arthritis) and was described a plan of treatment that would have EASILY cost over $2,000 in a span of three months. I was charged $75.00 for this 10 minute consultation and knew I was being taken for a ride as many people warned me. So, my total: $415.00. Never adjusted. No shot - Nothing, unless you count the icepack and electro-stimulator. I went straight to a neighboring chiropractor, paid $50, and in two quick moves got the adjusted I needed...and yes, 4 weeks later, ran a 100 mile trail race in 30 hours. In a small town like Weirton, one shouldn't bad mouth businesses so I really, REALLY talk about the OTHER Wonderful chiropractor. But I will not hesitate in sharing my story of $415 in fees and Nothing to show for it. And I'm not the only one telling this story.
