I would definitely refer anyone to Dan Bowerman. I have seen chiropractors over the years but never anyone this talented and knowledgeable. He is conservative in his treatment.

Like Chinese food and pizza. There are a lot of them but only a few really good ones. Dan Bowerman is a talented diagnostician with thorough knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement. In addition to adjustments he uses myofascial release and show his patient how to participate in their own care. I only wish he had more hours.

He's an orthopedist/sports medicine specialist chiropractor, not a hoodoo hand-waver. This meant I got stretches which helped fix my back problem for GOOD, not instructions to come back every week for life like some chiropractors want you to do. Saw Dr. Bowerman 10 years ago and have remained pain-free, as long as I stretch the way he taught me.

If you want your back/leg pain explained and corrected, go here. If you want to see a quack who will claim that chiropractic will cure cancer and align your chakras, there are plenty of those around instead!
