From my experience, you are a male and resist this providers aggressive and excessive financial demands be advised you will likely be retaliated against in the records and portrayed as controlling, unrational, and your words will likely be changed against you. This is done to discredit because the financial demands were not met.

I will be up front - I have filed a DORA complaint against this particular LCSW.
He is not professional - even telling me that if he was paid the money he wanted, immediately, he would assure that custody of a minor child would be mine. Selling a minor child's custody, not listening to and checking verified facts/issues with the other parent, screaming when he found out a DORA complaint had been filed and calling a client some very derogatory names - in court - when told of a DORA investigation, demanding expensive testing only with psychologists he approved, giving custody of a minor child to a person with a history of domestic violence - this is his list of accomplishments.
Still dealing with the fall out of the havoc he created.

Thomas W. Meehan was the worst thing to happen to me and my kids in our divorce. He claims to be the Cadillac of Child Family Investigators but sadly is not. He let me and my children down and allowed my kids to be in part time care with a deranged lunatic of a father. Meehan prides himself on being the best. He is a narcissistic idiot who wouldn't know his you know what from a hole in the wall. It has taken 9 years to undue the damage Meehan did to my family and everything finally came out in the wash. Never use this man in any manor for anything!

Where to begin? Let’s take a look at this man’s background, for starters. The letters LCSW follow his name as his official title. Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He is anything but that in my estimation. A quick check of the DORA website shows some interesting and relevant information, all publicly available, and all regarding any pertinent and current punitive sanctions against Mr. Meehan. With my personal experience, he is nothing short of a charlatan. Please be advised when contacting this LCSW provider, he is a vindictive, uncouth, and unprofessional person which will overbill, and underperform. Thomas Meehan seems to formulate an opinion and evaluate a situation without so much as spending a moment on it, rather, in my best estimation he is most concerned about collecting fees, and secondly administering a generic opinion based on his own ‘first glance’ and is quick to make snap, irrational decisions, and does so quite often. Ethics and the act of being ethical is not a part of this persons repertoire, those characteristics are self-evidently non-existent within him based on my interactions. I share with you this so that this be a forewarning to anyone that even considers this proprietor of idiocy, he should himself seek guidance, counseling, and possible self-censure. Be very wary of this man, he is a danger and an embarrassment to his field, fortunately he does not have an expertise, nor a website, nor any traceable background other than other bad reviews.
