If you want a therapist to empower the abusive co-parent and malign you to your children, then Dr. Snyder is the person to see.

I was optimistic when I visited Dr. Rebecca Snyder in October 2010. I was going through a very contentious divorce and Dr. Snyder came recommended as a co-parent coordinator to assist my ex-wife and me with co-parenting for my two children.
For the most part, Dr. Snyder performed her task as I expected at the start, but as I reached 3-4 months using her service, I was quite disturbed when her office sent me a $5,000 bill (in addition to the $2,000 retainer I had already paid). Unknown to me, my ex-wife had been calling her repeatedly and having meetings, which I was court ordered to pay, since my ex-wife does not work. Seldom would Dr. Snyder make me aware of these meetings and I was only privy when the bill came in.
I sent many emails to Dr. Snyder’s office, and would receive a response 25% of the time, typically after a few weeks of nagging. Despite numerous calls to her office and me requesting a monthly statement, so I could budget and track expenses, I never received a regular statement of my account, and whenever I called I’d receive another shocking bill containing hours she’d ran up talking to lawyers and my ex-wife.
With the help of my lawyer (more expense), I finally got an agreement from Dr. Snyder in writing that she’d send me monthly statements, provide timely email reports of meetings, and would limit her time to 1-2 hours a month, with my ex-wife and me, so I could afford her service. She has since dropped off the radar again and has not responded to any emails I sent her. The last statement of my account I received was 3 months ago.
Be very careful agreeing to use of Dr. Snyder’s service in any court order or custody agreement. Like many therapists, she appears to want an open checkbook and limitless time working with your family, and at $180 an hour, the bill mounts quickly. If, like me, you have a psychotic ex and you’re looking for a mediator that can provide some order to your family, with peace of mind and timely response at a reasonable cost, then DO NOT use Dr. Snyder’s service. Divorce can get quite costly, and with the insurmountable cost that lawyers charge, you do not need a therapist dwindling your finances.
