I was referred to Dr. Raul Rodriguez, I wanted to share my story with the hopes that you will be as satisfied as I am with Dr. Rodriguez and his staff. Almost three(3) years ago I had a traumatic event happen in my life, which has caused a lot of stress and anxiety for me and my family. I called to book an appointment and a few days later I was sitting in Dr. Rodriguez office, let me also say I live in Coral Springs and my appointment time was scheduled for 4:15pm, there was a major back up on the highway so I knew I was going to be late,I called the office and left a message that I was on my way and if someone could please call me back to confirm that it was OK for me to still come, within 5 minutes Andrea called me and after telling her I was in route but anticipated (GPS) getting there at 5pm( keep in mind at the time I was a new client and never met the doctor or staff) she put me on hold and came back on the phone and said the doctor said that was fine to still come he would wait, I was his last appointment. Upon arrival at 5:15pm, I apologized to Andrea for having her to work late, she said no problem at all. I go back into Dr. Rodriguez office and again I apologized and for the first time ever he said no problem whats going on. I told my horrific story and the doctor said " I am so sorry for what is going on in your life" he handed me a box of tissues and we continued to talk for about one hour, he didn't care about working late, he only showed me pure sympathy and he is now my favorite doctor. Very easy to talk to and he actually looks into your eyes when talking. Not that it matters; just wanted to mention the entire office was clean, including the restroom and his office has a calming atmosphere. I would give this practice a 10 star review if I could. I hope my story leads you to book an appointment with Dr. Raul Rodriguez and see for yourself what an amazing 👏 doctor really is. Sincerely, Lori C.

Please don't go to Delray Center for Healing. You will end up with more issues than when you started not to mention a lot less money. My experience was so poor from the Dr. to the office staff that I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of South Florida (BBB). After their investigation they have posted a very low score of recommendation for them. I truly do not understand how they are still in business especially when it comes to helping people in need. They caused me so much stress & anxiety. I was pushed to the point I am in fear of seeking a new Dr. I would rather take my chances an remain on my own, That's a sad statement to make this day and age but it's true. PLEASE MOVE ON TO ANOTHER FACILITY.

I have been going to therapy at this center for months. What I can tell you is the whole center is about money and nothing else. I requested I be allowed t attend the dbt program and am on medicare, but they couldn't care less and make NO exceptions even for people like myself, on yoyal disability, who could really benefit. Theres no sense of charity or giving back to the community and I am so disgusted I refuse to go back. The doctor is a master salesman who talks at you a million words a minute, has a very extravagant set of offices with an eye for expensive artwork, but lacks the character or ethics that one would expect. He is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY. He couldn't care less about individual needs.

Hi, my name is Ken.
I have been a patient at the Delray Center for Healing since 2005. It is now 2014! 9 years later, I am Clean, Sober, Happy and Productive. I am now married and own my own entertainment business. If It were not for my Now wife and parents who made sure I got Help from Doctor Rodriguez, I would not be alive to write this today. Dr. Rodriguez and his staff are fantastic. Never once have they made me feel uncomfortable, or treated me like a criminal. They do perform random drug testing, so I never know when it's my turn. That being said, I have never failed a drug screen once in 9 years. Thank You Dr. Rodriguez! I am alive and well today because of you and your staff at The Delray Center For Healing. Than You From The Bottom Of My Heart!!!

Peace & Love,
Ken Verduin III (Kenny V!)

This doctor is one of the worst psychiatrists my family has ever encountered. I am the caregiver, not the patient, and I attended most all appointments. Raul Rodriguez was arrogant, unprofessional, uncaring, inappropriate and had blinders on as to the issues with my adult family member. He refused to consider a written review sent to him by the therapist that had been seeing the patient for over a year and minimized all family input. But not obtaining this background information he prescribed medications that created more issues and could have been avoided. THen in the presence of the patient he ridiculed family members who were givng the doctor important facts about the patient, that Dr. Rodriguez could not yet see as he'd not seen the patient long enough. YEt this doctor chose to believe a patient in clear psychosis, and who had been off his bipolar medication for a month, which the patient acknowledged -- rather than the input of family members with history and the patient's previous therapist. He was very irratic at times and his arrogance and rudeness was recognized by dozens of others we've spoken to who have left his practice and found other more competent doctors.

I was really in trouble when I came to see Dr R and had actually planned on going to the hospital. My mother convinced me to try him as a last ditch effort and I did it. I was able to avoid going to the hospital and he really helped me. I have since fully recovered and see him for preventative maintenance. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I never had to doubt their qualifications. They made their credentials completely obvious, which made me feel a lot safer. I've never had to worry about them being understaffed or not being able to help me right when I need it. They have a huge staff that's very knowledgeable and qualified. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. They were absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners.

They are almost always prepared for my appointment, although sometimes they are have to look up the payment required (with my insurance). That is hardly something to quibble over, and Doctor Rodriguez has worked well with my insurance. The staff is nice but occasionally overbooks. Still, when I need to see the doctor, they always fit me in. It is unfortunate that there was a breakup with many of his best therapists. That transition made it difficult for patients, and Doctor R's atitude towards that makes it very uncomfortable to participate in other activities. As a result, I only see him now. An office's appearance is the least of my concerns, but they obviously take pride in its appearance. It is generally well organized and well taken care of. Once or twice they have had to reschedule, but they always try to get me in as soon as possible, even at a moment's notice if necessary. Th office staff is very sympathetic to my situation, and makes me feel cared for. Most important is that Doctor R knows his "stuff" and I believe he genuinely cares about his patients. He is an excellent med management doctor - I could not ask for better. I can truthfully say that he helped save my life. I would definitely recommend Doctor Rodriguez.
