I saw Mr. Puckett for several months while staying in a residential treatment center located in Grand Rapids Minnesota. Prior to meeting Mr. Puckett, I was very skeptical of psychologists. I often tried to "Pull a Good Will Hunting" on them. There was never any desire or need to do this with Mr. Puckett. His gentle and friendly approach, quite honestly, through me off. I have had therapists whom have fallen asleep on me in sessions, and therapists who did 95% of the talking. Mr. Puckett, on the other hand was constantly yet authentically engaged and interested. He never attempted to have me "try and see it THIS way. Or THAT way. I can say with no hesitation at all, I would not be here to write this if it was not for Richard Puckett. Unfortunately after my discharge from the RTC, I struggled. I ended up seeing other therapists, but to my dismay, the treatment I have received has been "mediocre". Though that may very well be because my standards for therapists have raised after seeing Mr. Puckett
