I was a patient of Dr. Olcese years ago after brain tumor surgery. He saved my life! I will never forget him. His help on how to live after the surgery was tremendous. I thank you Dr. Olcese.

I have been a patient of Dr. Olcese since the year 2000. Since that time, Dr. Olcese's volume of patients has increased tremendously. His business has changed and he not only has his own office, he works for Petaluma Health Center. I would suggest calling to make an appointment with him at either the Petaluma or Rohnert Park clinics since they can make appointments for him. Dr, Olese is one of the most compassionate, experienced, knowledgeable, and excellent diagnostician you could find. You will find him very comfortable to work with. He has been training more neuropsychologist, since there are not many, and instilling in them knowledge that transcends what they learned in school.He is worth the extra effort to be treated by him.

I think he is smart, but doesn't run his office very well. He tested my daughter, gave us a preliminary report and quit returning my calls.
Never billed insurance or me. He was hard to reach before he stopped returning calls, too.

He is the very best for how to live day to day after a head injury/injuries! I met him as a guest speaker for a head injury class at the Santa Rosa Junior College 15 years ago. He was literally a life saver for me and countless other.s.

Rick was very good with our son, Nick. He knew right away what was going on with him. He gave us ideas and suggestions on what we could do for him. Limiting video games, changing his diet, getting away from processed foods. Taking vitamins to help Nick focus. Our goal would be to have similar structure at both houses for Nick (mom & dads). Its hard to help a child when only one parent changes nutrition and limits video gaming. The benefit to Nick would be BIG. We didn't have insurance at the time we saw Rick, so we have to wait until we do to see him again. I would recommend Rick Olcese. He is slow in getting an assessment written. We never did get that paperwork so every one (mom & dad) would be on board with how to proceed and help Nick feel and behave better. (ie: limited gaming times, nutrition vs processed foods, vitamins).
