I'm disappointed, disgusted and would not recommend; a general rule is if you think a comment may be inappropriate-then it probably is. Your a professional, not the parent or an "adult best friend" with an inappropriate and snarky answer. You started off trying to help to put a family back together, but if your done then say so, and then also admit that the entire family is just one great big joke.

I absolutely would not recommend her to provide mental health care to anyone. She was conducting an important testing session that needed complete concentration and quiet and multiple times left the room to take phone calls. If they were that important, why not just be honest, end the session early and reschedule? Why should the client be continuously interrupted as the client obviously needs a therapy session and then on top of it all pay the full dollar amount? Second, I will not put into writing what was said however, this therapist stated something that was very unprofessional and inappropriate; I called the next day and told her I would not be coming back.

Broke patient/provider confidentiality and told my minor child I had no right to know her friends or where she went or what she did. She exacerbated family problems instead of addressing them. Char created problems that took years to repair.

The entire time I was there, her entire attention was focused on me. I have received a total of about 15 counseling sessions from Char, and I always felt very cared for. She was able to help me so quickly (big changes within the first 2 sessions) where other therapists just seemed to go on and on for months without netting me any beneficial results. All appointments far exceeded any preconceived ideas I had about how it would go - the EMDR therapy in particular is VERY effective. On a practical note, its easy it was to find parking. I can highly recommend Char. As to negative reviews you see here, I've never experienced anything like these other people are posting. I consider Char to be a consummate, highly effective professional.

Yes! They took a personal call right in front of me. I found it to be incredibly rude.

Absolutely not!! They never listen to customers complaints and argue with them
