I have seen the reviews on 3 sights…average of 3 stars. Let me add my input. I agree with the 4 ratings within the last 6 months. Lauren Willis is wonderful. Meanwhile the staff is disorganized, unresponsive and lacking sense of urgency. And, as of January, 2018, they charge $25 for any requested documentation. I needed a letter for my Social Security Disability and a second for my Medical Leave of Absence. For the second time in a year, I requested an emergency appointment. It has been four days with no response. Ms. Willis is out of the office and Dr. McCormack is on vacation; in his Maserati perhaps? Do not go here. I am calling Advantage Behavioral Health.

These people have no business running a medical office, especially one dealing with mental and emotional problems!!!! After faxing paperwork to them THREE different times as well as mailing them a hard copy, it took them FOUR months to ever contact me about making an appointment. When I returned the call to do so, I was told to call back the following week - the registration person was on vacation. ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? Dealing with depression, manic depression, and extreme anxiety are difficult enough without having to deal with not being able to get help when you ask for it!!!!! I wonder how many people have hit bottom or even attempted suicide because these pathetic people didn't contact them and offer help within a reasonable amount of time. DISGRACEFUL!!!!!

If I had known what a horrible experience I was going to have, I never would have gone in the first place. I would never refer a friend or family member here. Prior to my child's visit, I made my circumstances very clear that I lived in a different state than my child, I have a strong relationship with my kids and that it was critical for me to be included in sessions and the intake assessment as to include the complete family dynamic so that they can provide the most effective treatment. I was not part of the initial intake with the counselor, but she did call me after the session to brief me and this was good. I was not included in the next session. When it came to meet with the psychiatrist, I again made it clear that I needed to be included via conference call and if needed, I would fly in for the appointment. The Dr. never conferenced me in during a 1.5 hour session. When I called about this, I was told that I could set up an appointment with the Dr. for a fee. I kindly asked to have that Dr. replaced and contacted the counselor to let her know. The counselor would only speak to me via a fee based appointment. I then requested that all future appointments be canceled. I was contacted and advised that I would not be able to speak to the Dr., but that they still wanted to treat my child. I said no because if the relationship and trust with me is broken, they cannot effectively treat my child without my input. Furthermore, I have not trust for this group. Then they advised that they would contact my ex and would inform her of the situation and would continue to see my child if she chose. The ethical stance would have been to step aside and make a quality referral to continue treatment. I have a counseling background and will be filing complaints with the medical board and any PA memberships that they belong to. Oh, not to mention that they have now created greater tension with my ex and the issue may have to be resolved in court for thousands of dollars. I would not classify this organization as doing no harm, but instead as one that is in such a posh self righteous environment that they are removed from the reality of effectively stepping away from their agenda to treat mental health properly.

I don't know about the doctors because I can't even schedule an appointment. Their staff is extremely rude and inconsiderate. They lost all of my forms that I printed out at home and completed and the copy of my license and insurance card. They never answer calls at any hour of the day, and even if they do answer they will put you on hold or transfer you to their call center that takes messages for them when the are supposedly out of the office at any hour of the day. Their receptionists should not be working for psychiatrists, because they obviously do not care about one's mental health. I got two staff members to give me their names, Jessica and Deborah, before being transferred to a call center. I hope that no one calls this office needing real mental help.

After paying the office in full for every visit I received over $850 of charges on my charge card from this office for my child's visits. The explanation was vague about unpaid balance from my insurance company. It appears they were billing me and then trying to bill my insurance company as well.

Two months later I have been unable to get these charges removed. I was told a check would be issued and got one for $115.

They never answer the phone This is fraud.
