I cannot express how impactful Dr. Adams has been on my life in the last 6 months. I did a lot of research when finding a new psychologist and Dr. Adams is the best in his field! I suffer from generalized anxiety with depressive tendencies so if I could see him each week, I would. The outcomes of each session are so valuable. He is straight, to-the-point and always spot-on with his analysis. Also, he always remembers everything I have told him, even down to the names of people. He gives you a real sense of accomplishment as long as you're completely honest with him. This is very important - be honest from day one and you'll get all that you need from him. Remember, it always takes a few sessions with anyone to get acquainted. It was hard to "click" in the beginning, but now I honestly feel like he's a relative of mine; like that honest uncle who always has the best advice and never steers you wrong. I look forward to my continued progress with Dr. Adams!

I consider myself fortunate to have found Dr. Adams. He listens, understands, and offers thoughtful and constructive advice. He has created an environment where I am comfortable discussing my issues and know that Dr. Adams will provide me with honest and objective feedback. He has proven to be someone that I trust and whose input I value greatly. I cannot say enough about how helpful and productive my time spent with Dr. Adams has been. Dr. Adams has literally been a lifesaver. He has helped me through some very tough times and has helped me to become a better version of myself. As a result, I have better relationships with my children, my husband, friends, and employers. I can't thank him enough!

Psychoanalysis

Spot on! Dr. Adams knows his stuff, and he can help you get your stuff together. I once knew a Psychologist who I thought of like a shot gun. He would listen, abstract away the details, and fire in a healing way. Dr. Adam’s is more like a rapid fire Gatling machine gun. He is fast, accurate, and clears things up in seconds flat.

Psychiatric Medicine

Dr. Adam’s is well versed in psychiatric medicine. He can tell you what medicines will help you, how they might affect you, and what the alternatives are. He can refer you to helpful Psychiatrists who will benefit you rather than treat you with their interest as the top priority in treatment.

My personal Favorite: Weaponry

Need to stand up for yourself? Dr. Adams can tell you how. Need to face your fears? Dr. Adams knows what can help you. Confused about all that? Dr Adams can clear things up for you. He can tell you how to shoot, what to shoot, and how to hit the target. But he can’t do it for you. You have to do the shooting: i.e. the work.

Summation

Dr. Adams is a highly educated, experienced, and talented PhD Psychologist, and he knows a lot about other areas of medicine out side of mental health.

He simply is good at what he does. And to that statement I think he might say, “Yes I am”.

I drive from Athens to Atlanta to see him. He’s the best of the best. He can drill down to the root of the problem, how it arose, what I can do, and how to resolve conflicts and make effective decisions. I could not be more pleased.


I started seeing him in 2017. The office was extremely well organized, appointments were always on time, and he has this remarkable memory that allows him to retain even the smallest aspect of my history, including names, dates, places and occurrences. He came highly recommended to me.

I was hesitant to see a Psychologist and after much research I chose to see Dr. Adams. After seeing him for a few months now though, I can say he has been an incredible help to me. He is very intelligent, funny, caring, straightforward, and makes me feel very at ease when I speak with him.
