I have to say I'm very disappointed. Last June, the parents of my graduating Pre- K class all pitched in (behind my back) and bought a spa gift card for $140.00 as a thank you. It was the best surprise to receive because 14 families came together and planned something on my behalf. It was beyond generous and I literally cried when it was presented to me because it showed how they truly felt about me as their children's teacher. Anyhow, after months of not having availability due to full time work and attending college classes I FINALLY contacted Naturally Kneaded in February to schedule my much needed massage. When I spoke to Jennifer, the owner, she struggled to find availability for my hectic schedule as I could only do weekends. She informed me that she would contact me to see if she could get someone in on a Saturday for me. At this point I was under the assumption they were open on weekends as it states on the webpage. Never received the call. So I let a few weeks pass and decided to give it a try again. I had to remind Jennifer of the situation and how I was supposed to hear back from her and so on.. again, she had to call me back to see the schedule because she runs another location in Bushkill. This time she did contact me back (which I appreciated). She informed me that there was no availability to meet with me on a weekend and that she'll have to refund me my gift certificate due to the complications on her end. As upsetting as that was, I understood completely and respected her wishes. She took all my information so she could mail me a check for $140. After two weeks of no check I decided to call. Her response was "oh I thought I told you that we don't cut checks until the end of the month...so in about a week or so".. holding back frustration, I politely understood, Once again. Then she proceeds to ask for my name, mailing address, and the certificate amount again (leading me to feel as if she had completely forgotten about me). So I gave all the info and reminded her it was a total of $140.00. Two days later the check magically shows up. As I open the envelope I realized she deducted a "return certificate processing fee". Ok so now I'm really annoyed. NOT once did she inform me of a processing fee, but I never asked for a refund, she turned me away because of "scheduling conflicts". I was completely respectful and understanding throughout all of this. I decided to call Jennifer in regards to this situation and she has not answered any of my phone calls. I do not recommend this location and I will be passing this info along to all the families that kindly contributed. Many people I know were waiting to hear how my experience was (because they were interested in purchasing) and I will be sure to inform them how unprofessional they really are.
