Dr. Hand's office always makes an extra effort to make me feel respected and attended to. Dr. Hands always listen to every question or concern I may have. She never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and takes every concern of mine very seriously. She is a teacher and goes above and beyond to explain in detail your condition. I can tell that her staff has a lot of respect for her. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. Although she does not bill your insurance, do not let that scare you away. You can file it yourself and she also has a payment plan available. She is worth every penny. The level of care you get for the price is outstanding.

Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff and doctor were fantastic. Dr. Hands even gave out her email address and promptly answered questions I had between visits . Everything they told me in the beginning ended up turning out exactly the way they said it would. I've never had a doctor spend over an hour with me for an initial visit. Follow ups are anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes. I never doubted Dr. Hand's abilities. She is absolutely amazing and make others in the same field look like beginners. I was previously misdiagnosed by an Internal Med and 2 other Endocrinologists. These other docs are probably fine for diabetes but were not specialized in thyroid like Dr. Hands. Although Dr. Hands can initially come across a little stern, she really is very sympathetic and made me feel cared for. Stick with her!
