He is a really careing person and he LOVES working with patients that are sick and are not heathly he was my doctor and he was a awsome person so dont hessatate to have him as a doctor

Before moving to Florida, Dr. Flagel was my family doctor in Iowa. He is the best doctor that I have ever had. He is genuinely concerned about the welfare of his patients and expresses a tremendous amount of empathy. There were many times when he went above and beyond his call of duty as a doctor by lending his ear to my concerns and offering positive feedback. Again, he is the best and there aren't enough stars to rate him. The patients that he will serve in North Port are extremely lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful doctor.

I live in Iowa and Dr. Flagel was our family doctor before he moved to Florida. We all miss him so much and my mom actually cried when he left. He was an amazing doctor and I really felt that he genuinely cared about my family and I. I have not found a better doctor since he has left. We would always get right in and out at the office and never had to wait to see him. He is very kind hearted and he made us feel so comfortable in his presence. He always had the solutions to our problems. Dr. Flagel is the best doctor I have ever had and I feel that I won't ever meet another doctor that will be as wonderful as he was. I definitely recommend this practice if you live in the North Port area. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Dave provided care for my family in Iowa, prior to his move to Florida last year. When I first met him I had just given birth to premature twins and he was the new doctor replacing my retired physician. His gentle manner and positive demeanor quickly assured me he was the right person to care for my family. He always took the time to listen to me and my concerns, and worked with me to find a workable solution. If there was ever a question about the care for my children he would quickly get Dr. Susan on the phone for a second opinion. It was amazing to have that level of care at my fingertips.
Each time I visited the office the staff was so friendly and always remembered me right away. They always asked about the kids and really cared about the quality of our lives. I never had to wait long for appointments and usually would be able to get in quickly in an urgent situation.
Now that the Drs are no longer in Iowa, our care has not been the same. My kids and I truly miss Dr. Dave and we know the folks in North Port are very lucky to have him!
If you're looking for a practice with doctors who will get to know you as a person, who genuinely care about you and your care, and who will strive to always give you not only the best care but always their personal best, Flagel Pediatric & Family Medicine is the place for you. Choosing them for your care will be one of the best decisions you ever make.

They are an absolute expert in the field. I would never feel unsafe or apprehensive in their care. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation. I've never seen more kindness and empathy anywhere else. When I arrived for my appointment the friendly staff seemed to be waiting for me. I've been to other places where I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment, but not here. I was very impressed. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. Being raised in a small town, I took our family doctor for granted. It wasn't until I moved to the big city and found that you just don't find that kind of care in every office. When choosing a family doctor, not just for yourself but for your entire family, I could not give them a higher recomendation. If you are in search of Doctors that will take the time to get to know you and your family, (rather than being just "another chart") and genuinely care about your health and well being then look no farther! I know I haven't!

I was confident that they were using the latest treatment methods. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. I absolutly love this office and the staff as well as the doctors! I am 30 years old and finally found a doctor WHO CARES!! Thanks Doctor Dave... I cant tell you haw much it is appriciated to have a caring and professional doctor.

Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. I don't know of anywhere else that would've taken better care of me. I had a great experience. It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. One thing I noticed about their office was how absolutely fantastic it smelled. They must clean or sanitize all the time.
