I visited Patty a few years ago for a hearing evaluation and knew that when I needed a hearing aid I would be returning to her. She is very professional and truly caring when understanding your needs and how best to correct your hearing deficiency. I did return for a hearing aid and have been proudly wearing it for 2 months, and no one even knows!

Patti Cohen has been my Audiologist for the past 12 years.

I have been extremely satisfied and pleased with her knowledge, skill and caring as she has helped me so much with my declining hearing. Over the 12 years, my hearing has continued to deteriorate, but she has kept my hearing in satisfactory working order.

At first wearing the hearing aids was a matter of choosing to hear better, but at this point as I age, I am totally dependent on them to get through my day and enjoy conversations and entertainment. Without them it is as if someone turned off the "TV sound" of my life and surroundings.

I can happily recommend Patti for anyone in need of hearing aids. She offers a variety of instruments, gives extremely through hearing tests, is always happy to make adjustments as one gets accustomed to the aids, or has changes in hearing ability. And to top it off, she is a very pleasant person to be with, always smiling and cheerful.

I am astonished by the 1 star negative review below. Ms. Cohen was nothing but professional in my dealings with her. I had a problem with one of the hearing aids and she worked with the manufacturer to replace the unit immediately. During this time she was polite, responded to email and phone contacts in a very timely fashion, and bent over backwards to accommodate my busy work schedule. I am very happy with both the product and with her service and attention and I highly recommend Brooklands.

All I can say is...RUN THE OTHER WAY! Ms. Cohen is a polished salesperson who promises a Mercedes and delivers a beat-to-crap Chevy. She is either incompetent or she truly is a snake oil salesman. Maybe a bit of both. She apparently was quite annoyed at me after I spent $4800 and had to have 3 adjustments. When the most powerful, most expensive hearing aids you could buy could not be property adjusted by her, I decided to check out what Costco had to offer during my 60-day trial period. (I have severe to profound loss). I was treated like gold by the Costco team and was amazed they seemed to be able to get great adjustment right out of the gate. The manufacturer of Cohen's aids (Phonak) included a couple of accessories which she didn't even bother to program for me (fortunately Costco DID with their free accessories) and when I told her I was still having problems with the Phonak Vaida 9 aids, she did not offer to contact the manufacturer. Or work with me to resolve the problems any further. Since I got definite vibes that she only wants easy-to-fit clients with money-to-burn, I told her I would return them. Then she pops on you that the 60 day trial period which she promised to return all of your money except $200 for her time...sounds so gracious when selling you this idea...she actually holds out the cost of your custom ear molds too! (Cleverly semi-disclosed in her contract.) She charges 3X the normal price for these. Costco sells them for $40 each...she charges $125 each. So my little 60-day trial period ended up costing me $450 out of my pocket. For NOTHING but two custom ear molds that don't fit my new, ReSound hearing aids. When I returned the aids, she was so rude. I very politely told her I wanted to discuss the money situation and she said "you signed a contract", I don't want to spend any more time with you. Here is your refund check minus $450 so please leave my office." I am giving you the Cliff Notes version, trust me. Her treatment of me as a human being (much less a customer who spent five grand) is TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND APPALLING. As a person who has been a business owner for 36 years, trust me. Don't be lulled by her sales tactics. She will turn on your faster than a Cobra in a basket. I intend to pursue this situation with Phonak (and my attorney if need be). All I can say is: Run, run, run!!!!!
