Spends extra time, not rushed. Don't come for pills. Procedures helped my pain. Thanks! I tell all F&F who need pain management to see Dr. Mancuso.

I wish to share my story. In 1986, I was 19 and a disease destroyed the lining of my knees to where I had three surgeries and took me out of life in many ways. Crippling pain, arthritis, all the textbook things one loses. As I've gotten older, the chronic condition became unbearable where daily life function was interrupted, and depression, job functions were ceased, unbearable pain, just hopelessness. Knee replacements were 10 years overdue but as a single dad, I can't stay out of the game with kids at home. So I kept trudging along. I was referred by my primary doctor to Dr. Mancuso. I went with zero expectations, only because I didn't understand what pain management was. Since my first visit in November, I have had both knees worked on there using stimulation painless, and other procedures and within two months I am able to walk with my family examples have been hours through the mall, going outside, walking distances once impossible, now I walk and catch myself and say I can't believe this. I haven't done this in ten years. And up until November I had been on the couch for two years. Now, every body is different, don't expect all the same, But Now I'm living life without having to wait until my kids grow up and have a knee replacement to start living. This is living. I never expected this. This has been the best thing to happen to my pain and mobility in 15 year's.

She listens and cares. Takes time to explain things. I feel better since I started going there, can do more things around the house and walking around town now, couldn't do that before.

When I went there, I was taking narcotic pain medications daily, after only 3 months, I am taking them only occassionally. My back pain is well under control after 2 epidural and 1 nerve block. Dr. Mancuso found a medical problem I did not know I had and immediately ordered labs and a referral to a specialist immediately. She is caring and compassionate. Yes, there is a wait but she takes time with each patient. She answered all my questions and let me take an active role in my pain management. As a retired RN, I can say that her bedside manner is impeccable, her exams thorough. Kim, her MA is a delight. I am grateful for the care I am receiving.

I was referred by a Doctor who cared about me pain and condition. When I arrived, I waited for over 3 hours to be seen. When I finally saw the doctor ( Lisa Mancuso ) she was not compliant to my comments about my SCI pain. She said, in order for her to be able to write any pain medications by mouth, I had to go through this certain procedure to determine weather or not she saw my pain as valid VIA her procedures. So, she sends me to Mcleod for a procedure in which I \\was supposed to be under anesthesia. Finally, after waiting for over 6 hours, they came 2 me and said, that they were having problems with the anesthesia. They said that they could go ahead and do the procedure with me awake and I agreed to go ahead with the procedure. After everything was done, I was in extreme pain in which they offered no pain medicine to take home, and I cannot get Dr Mancuso's staff on the phone to make an appointment to find out the results of the procedures. I have been ignored, and disregarded. I WOULD NOT EVER RECOMED ANYBODY TO DR MANCUSO.
