She was working with my child and we were in a custody case.I thought she was professional but we found out Dr.Aceto was forwarding emails we sent her in confidentiality to the other party involved in case.Which were then shared with my daughter who was only 9 at the time.I trusted her with my child and how could my child know who to trust after she found out Dr.Aceto shared information she shouldn't have.It was unethical and very unprofessional.

First appointment - late. OK I can deal. We made a second appointment for following week. I showed up and WAITED OVER 1/2 hour. I left her a note asking her to call me to reschedule and after two weeks I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HER.

She's nice enough but come on. Terribly unprofessioal

Erika Aceto was my psychologist/therapist for over two years, from 2009-2011. She absolutely still would be if I didn't have to move a few towns away (if I had a car I would without a doubt just do the commute every week). Until I got settled in my new location, Erika even worked it out to see me, making sure that I was comfortably transitioned. She's extremely dedicated, she really does care, and she has the professional knowledge to make your sessions really count. I remember immediately feeling at ease with her in the beginning and I should mention I WAS NOT looking forward to explaining my whole life story, all while trying to describe what my personal feelings were along the way. But it turned out when things would feel at their worst, I found myself at least being able to be thankful for this relationship, how easy it was to share what my issue were, and for the useful input I'd get from our sessions. It seems like I'm acting like that's ironic, but I guess that's actually what successful therapy is designed to do - make you feel better! I think I'm fully realizing right now how much better off I am for the 2+ years of experience I had with Erika. Regardless of anything, her dedication and care definitely paid off for me in my life!
