Judy Becker is a wonderful therapist and I'm so happy I decided to see her. I was struggling with severe anxiety along with some relationship problems. I knew I needed some help and I wanted an "unbiased" party so I decided to look through the phone book for a counselor. I was new to the area at the time and didn't do much research - basically picked a name out of a hat. I called around to various places and Judy was the first to return my call and she set up an appointment with me the same day. I did not have insurance at this time and she worked with me to set up a payment plan that I could afford. Judy was very welcoming and non-judgmental. I felt very comfortable talking to her right off the bat and found myself babbling away about my issues very quickly (and believe me, I am not normally a talkative person). She was very patient with me and listened to everything I had to say. She helped me cope with my anxiety with various tools - from breathing exercises to simply presenting a different perspective. She never made me feel like I was "wrong" or "weird" about the relationship issues I was having, even if some of them may have been my fault. My communication skills really grew because of Judy's help, and my anxiety, while not gone, certainly lessened.
I absolutely recommend Judy to anyone in need of someone to talk to. She is great at her job and I know you won't be disappointed.
