I have been a patient at this hospital for a total of 3 times. Each time, I have been impressed with the staff and the way they operate. Its like an assembly line. Fast and precise. This hospital is rated number on by me.

My mother has visited this hospital several times, we do prefer, Skylline even tho it is further because of problems at this hospital previous visits. But this was an emergency so she was taken there. This time she was taken to er and then to icu, she was in very poor health, as they could see. They asked her to sign the paper and she said she was to weak for me to sign and said it was ok, they explained, I understood I am always with her, at check ins, I did tell them there better not be any problems this time letting her leave again not ready to go home when she is still ill, I was assured that would not happen if there was a problem all I had to do was sign a paper and give it to them and notify a nurse and they would contact someone for me. It would not happen if I did not like there decision. Well it did, when my mother after three attempt and finally surgerys and almost losing her several times, finally got a pacemaker in her heart. which helped it but she was extremly weak, had an infection, anemic, could not even get out of a chair without help, or put on her own underwear the morning of leaving, I had to do it for her. She told me the nurse put her clothes on her to leave she couldn't. Mama could barely walk and only with assistance. She was being send home to be alone to take care of herself, yes some live with her but they work and do not, I repeat help her. The family knows that and can not convince my mother of this. Mama says everday she wants to go home, it is just a fraise she always says, if you do not know her. The few days before Dr. Watson had seen my mother and we spoke of my mother going to a rehab. My mother said yes, she knew she was not strong enought to go home. Her heart was better but she wasn't. The doctor said she would put the request in. I saw her later and she said she put the request in. Later my mother went for a walk with the pt. and only a short walk with help she almost could't get out of the chair we had to help her on both sides, she only walked a small bit and came back with a small bump on her lower leg bleeding. My mother has very good momory at times very good, but sometimes no. she can remember names and dates so good and next time she will ask you the same question she just asked you five minutes ago and say are we going home I want to go home. When the day came on Friday they took her down in a wheelchair to dialysis I stayed in the room, a case manager came and said Mama was going home, I said no, no she is to weak, what about her request for rehab. I was told she will have care at home. I said she already had that before, and look at her now. Do you really think that helped. Look how weak she is. They didn't notice anything. But like to talk to mama, she likes to talk. She will talk your head off. Love her. I told the case manage I will not agree with that decision, she said but why has no one told me of this, I said well we have been telling someone, maybe not you but someone, a different pt came in and she spoke to her. and they walked into the hall abit. I spoke to her a moment and said I will not agree to have her leave, she said I can't find her a bed on Friday, It will be hard. Well it not my problem she doesn't want to do her job to find a bed. Do it lady, look. It seemed like she didn't even want to try. I said what Doctor is letting Mama go, I got no response. I did see a group in the hall talking. At that moment my mamas Dr. Ventash came in to check on her, and I told him she was gone to dialysis and they said she was going home, and I did't think it was wise, he said what, what hospital Dr. said she was going home. I said her heart is good, but she is extremly weak, they send her home and she will be right back and worse. I will not agree to this, he walked out. I got the paper they had given me at arrival and signed it I do not agree on my mother leaving., Just then there was a code blue, everyone was panicing, the gentleman lo the left was having a problem, everyone was racing around. I had seen the family just leave moment before and knew they were not in there. I stepped out and handed a blonde nurse that was just standing there watching the letter and said give this to the case worker over there please. thank you. and then an lady office came and said step back in your room. and all the glass door shut. it was kind of hectic for a bit. I could hear them saying where is the family i opened the door a moment, and said I hear you asking for the family I have been seeing them all week I know what they look like may I go find them for you, a nurse said stay in your room. Just then a officer came and said tell me what they look like and I will go and look for them. I described the one woman and the others. she went to search for them, But I think I could have found them faster. I waited and waited. I knew Mama would be three or more hours, and I needed to use the restroom. So I got a clear shot and ran out to the restroom, I almost knocked down a wetfoor sign i did't see, I didn't know the doors locked and couldn't get back in while a code blue was going on. I waited down stairs for awhile, I know now I should of gone to management about Mama not leaving. but instead I went to my niese. work she has the poa for Mama, we started calling trying to get something done. but because you have to have a code for anyone to speak to you about her case no one would, Well no one gave us a code I was not given one, and Mama does not understand what a code means. She still uses a flip phone and does not understand computers or text or anything like that so a code if told one would go over her head. My sister and I and niese have been at the hospital all the time and no one has ever told us her code. Joy Craft Baker is her POA and you would not even speak to her, and you have a copy of that paper. My Mamas dialysis is confused by her being send home so ill. She has already been back at the doctor, the nurse has been to the house, she is on the verge of pneumonia, and still has anemia and the infection she came home with and weaker and so much worse now. I told your people then do not send my Mother home. DO NOT, DO NOT. she called another family member and was picked up. she does not understand what was going on. just that she was going home. she doesn't understand yes she knows her name and birthday you think she is ok because she knows that . dum dum If I lose my mother I will sue this place and I might still do it. Her daughter
