I loved The Pavilion. I was put in there for wanting to kill myself and I got the help i needed. Now my mom isn't afraid im going to kill myself when she isn't home. Yes the staff can be rude but they are just trying to get their job done. Please stop hating on the pavilion.

This place is a total waste of time, the staff is rude, they are forcing people to stay after their insurance runs out just to add more to the bill even when they are told that is cannot be afforded. They put you on hold for long periods of time and the person you want to speak with is never there or in a meeting. They are padding bills and bankrupting the families that come here. DONT COME HERE!!! The local police department has had multiple reports from parents against this place for many years, and I cant believe they are still in operation. Wasted 6 out of the 7 days we had left on our insurance and that final day they refuse to release and say we will be responsible for the charges, we said we want discharge they refuse.

I am so disturbed by the experience I had at the Pavillion and are still experiencing with them. The Pavillion was recommended to me by my Heath Care Provider for Alcohol Abuse. I called and gave them all my insurance information etc. They called back and I was approved to go there and was told to come on in. There was one little thing though, I had to pay for my room and board for a 28 day stay plus buy my books. The money was to be paid Upfront. I arrived and paid my money and was admitted into the program. Friday afternoon rolls around and I'm told that my Insurance Company did not approve weekends. Home I go and was told to come back Monday morning and continue were I started. The following Friday rolled around and the same thing. The following week I was coined out of the program. So total number of overnights was 9. I asked for a refund on the rest of the money. No Deal, they said I had to wait til the Insurance was settled. This started in January. I called a few times and was told the Insurance check was on the way and they would credit my credit card. On June 6th I get a phone call from them saying I owed them $98.00. I explained the situation and was told they had to review the account and call me back. No phone call. Today July 21st, 2014 I called and once again they had to review my account and get back with me. In the meantime during the conversation I was told that I had a $ 1700.00 Credit. The second conversation I was told I had the credit, but a Supervisor had to reveiw the account and I would have an answer Wednesday. At 4:46 p.m. I get another call from Lynn who told me they have to review their Contract with the Insurance Company. I asked her what that had to do with me or the money. I was told my money was put toward the bill and they would have an answer for me by 8/1/14. Tomarrow I will be on the phone with my Insurance Company. Enough is Enough. So in order not to be messed around with by these people they need to be paid on a day by day basis. I never hesitated when asked for the money, so why the hesitation to get it back? By the Grace of God I remain Sober today and on July 25th I will have 6 months Sobriety. Why then am I still dealing with this situation. (I only selected one star on the rating because it would not let me submit otherwise)
