I was in hospital a few days ago I has a amazzing nurse Kelli from ER was very disappointed in my visit i went there for chest pain and stomach pain my family doctor told me because my heart history had a heart attack a year ago, so I went to ER it was anxiety and a UTI I was told from ER doctor I sending you home I said I am in pain and was nausea he told me well come back later if it gets worse we don't have beds I said I need to get a grip on pain and nausea my nurse so great so she had me get something else and it work then wanted to know how soon I could get a ride I get not dyeing but would of wished a little compassion my daughter at Trinity ICU nurse could not believe how I was treated lesson learn go to Trinity I want to thank my ER nurse Kelli she was fantastic

Obviously most of the staff is there for a paycheck. not caring, compassionate or professional. Of course I can't speak for every single person that works there but in my experience...just horrible. And the comment a nurse made to me (a person that is not typically emotional), made me cry. so insensitive!

Horrible experience. Dr. Ke Chen was very generic and seemed to make up a diagnosis, he told us one thing and told the nurse checking us out something different. I won't go to Illini ER again. I've been told by many to skip Illini and just go to Trinity. I will follow this advice.
