RUN do not walk away from this facility. My dear son, Matthew David Goodman was suicidal and wanted help. The entire family was aware of his intentions and we were hopeful that Lakeside would hap us.
Instead of helping him they were understaffed and put him alone,locked in WITH HIS OWN BELT ON. He used his belt, an obviously contraband item. to HANG himself. He was dead by the time a staff member checked on him. He was only 30 years old and had a bright future, This death INSIDE LAKESIDE is a matter of public record and occurred on March 14, 2009. As his Mother, there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss my sunshine. Please hear me and do not go there or any hospital that is owned by they parent company UHS
