Very unprofessional , she literally had a pop up desk. I moved here from San Diego and was had been taking lorazepam for a couple years, when I moved here my primary care dr had been giving me my refills and said once I got a psychiatrist he could no longer give them to me that she would. She gave me two different Meds but refused to give me lorazepam . When I told her was was I suppose to do because I know I could have serious withdrawal and even seizures she said she wasent the one that started me on them and she won't give them to me . I was scared of the withdrawals and she gave me no help at all even to try and help me wing myself off of them. I also told her the Zoloft was making me feel worse after the 2nd month and she literally did not care, handed me the same Zoloft prescription and said I'll see you next month. I have severe depression , panic attacks and ptsd, it's hard for me to reach out for help I. The first place and with Dr like her makes it even worse because she made me loose trust in getting help.

All three of my kids see her for different issues...she is very calm, soft-spoken and well mannered. I feel at ease after speaking to her. She does take the time...perhaps that's why people complain about waiting a long time...you won't mind when she takes her time with your appointment.

As a new patient referred to her by an inpatient clinic, I was requested to arrive 20 minutes early for registration and paperwork. I arrived at 11:50 and completed the paperwork by the appointed time of 12:10. The paperwork included a fee schedule to include: $65 for missed appointments, $30 for medical records, and $50 for "letter writing." By 12:40 I was still in the waiting room. I retrieved my paperwork from the receptionist, explaining that that degree of tardiness was unacceptable. The receptionist told me that Nallamothu was backed up because she "got a late start this morning." Obviously there is no respect for the patients and the inclusion of such exorbitant fees is simply ridiculous. I would advise anyone to avoid Dr Nallamothu and Inland Psychiatric Medical Group. It is simply not worth the aggravation and there are certainly better providers available.
