Dr. Jacobs spends time with patient to treat the problem.
He is very thorough in explaining the condition and how he is treating it and why
You are not just another number breezing in and out of a Doctors office.
He is the best.

My friend just spent the last THREE HOURS waiting for Dr. Jacobs. I am shocked at the total lack of respect he shows his patients. This is not the first time we've had this experience. My friend is too kind to speak up but I strongly urge anyone with any self respect to avoid this quack at all costs.

FILTHY office! I have a photo of his stainless steel toolbox & my daughter asked if that is where he threw tools AFTER use; NO! Not a DROP of antiseptic liquid in the box. I told him for a week dad's left foot was really not healing and last Monday he told me "that foot is healed"; On Saturday they operated my dad's left leg putting in a new artery bypass because minimal blood flowed to the foot, almost causing amputation of toes & that is still on the line; I have fotos; when I showed them to the head of the Saratoga Senior Center, she also told me she knows of many seniors who've had very bad experiences with him & offered me a form for the NYS Medical board & also the name of a new Podiatrist; he ended up with staph aureus & 2 strep infections during his time with this Dr, however the Dr DID give him scripts in a timely manner; and waiting to get into the room? sometimes over an hour! And treatments? often over an hour; I always had to block off the afternoon or morning, when I accompanied my dad,; OF COURSE he treats his staff so well: they are his FAMILY!!

DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Could not believe the smell or condition of both the office and exam room. Not just messy buy really dirty. Exam chair had tape on the full arm rests and that tape was just covered with dirt. I asked for paper towels to cover the arms. Then when the nurse went to get the towels I saw the doctor's set of draws holding tools, graze, etc. The case was covered with dirt inside and out. That was enough for me. I told the nurse (who was dressed in dirty rolled up jeans) I was leaving and she went to get the doctor. In came a very old doctor, using a walker who told me to GET OUT. HOUSE OF HORROR

It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. They were one of the kindest, most caring staff I've ever dealt with. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were always happy to help me. The waiting area is rather small, but there is always a seat available. It would be nice if it was more spacious, but I've never had to stand. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. Repeated over and over the only dumb question is the one you didn't ask!! also welcomed 2nd opinion, and readily stated he would refer to the best person if need was not something he felt very comfortable doing himself. We basically went for orthotics.

The office was in the basement and was cluttered and dirty. I felt very uncomfortable there, especially in the exam room, which was also quite cluttered and dirty (especially the bed/table I sat on). I appreciated the doctor's time and he was nice, but I didn't feel he was skilled in long distance running-related issues. He shaved off my callouses with a questionable razor and taped my feet up with materials he pulled from an overstuffed, messy draw. An assistant complained she was 'burning up', and I'm paranoid of catching her sickness in the poorly-ventilated space. He was sympathetic about fees/costs, and I think that is his advantage to clients, but you'd have to be comfortable with the unkempt atmosphere to be a patient. He was extremely nice and willing to help, but it just wasn't a good fit for me.
