Absolutely Not! He/She always looks like a slob.

I think Geoff definitely means well, but his confidence got the best of him... just because one template fit most of his clients (or so he made himself and them believe), doesn't mean it fits all of them. He tried to make me believe I was sexually abused as a child, which left me more scarred and angry than before I started seeing him. He made me believe how messed up I was and how he could help me... thousands of dollars later I was only getting worse. Luckily I found the strength to walk away and realize I can do the work on my own, in a healthy, healing way, but I had a lot more to heal than when I first started seeing Geoff.
I hope that I am an exception to the rule.
Please do your research on hypnosis and NLP. Be aware of how you react to male versus female therapists. I for one will do my own self-hypnosis scripts and NLP exercises - too much money down the drain and bad experiences with both female and male hypnotherapists. I highly recommend the books "Self Hypnosis for a Better Life" and "Get the Life You Want" to start with. You can then try Emotional Freedom Technics - "Matrix Reimprinting". Take ownership of your life and only go to a therapist for that extra push. If it doesn't feel right, it probably isn't right.
