Let me first start by stating I have been a client of the previous vet Dr. Gene for 36 years. He deserves higher than a 5 star rating! When he retired I continued to take my animals to Dr. Marr who took over the business who I found to be impersonal. My one dog has Cushing's disease and diabetes. In January he developed an eye infection which Dr. Marr treated on January 7- he was seen a week later on January 14 and medication was continued- he was seen 2 weeks later on February 14 with little improvemet so medication was changed. I called on February 21 to have the doctor see him again since he eye was getting worse and was told she didn't have any appointments until March 7th. I am an established client of over 36 years and she was actively treating the dog and couldn't see him. The office staff told me she had taken on another vets cases because they were short handed- really what about your own cases I questioned. One of the veteran office staff told me she would call me if there were any cancellations. When this didn't happen I called a new vet and was seen within 2 days- Needless to say my dog vastly improved within the first 2 days of medication and now 10 days later has vastly improved. Dr. Marr has lost a loyal client as I have transferred my 2 dogs and 3 cats to the new vet. I recommend other transfer to - before this happens to you

The chairs in the waiting area are pretty average. Not super deluxe but not horribly uncomfortable either. The staff here is not that friendly. It was hard to get any conversation out of them. Their pricing was outrageously high. I was shocked and appalled at how much the bill was when it was time to pay. Not much was accomplished during my pet's appointment, and it left me dissatisfied. I don't feel very confident that my provider will see my problems through until they're resolved. I would never ever go there again! I took my one of my dogs in initially, because I felt he had something lodged in his stomach after getting into the garbage, and was vomiting up everything he ate. I was told that he just had a stomach virus. After being charged a full exam fee (My dog had to be "established" as a patient) I was told by Danielle the vet asst to wait until he got better to get his distemper and rabies. I was quoted a price for both and not once was I EVER told to come back within a 2 week time frame to get them done! Soon after coming home my dog threw up again, this time it was a pair of latex gloves he must've ate from the garbage when we were chopping up jalapeno peppers (my dog is blind so he doesn't see what he eats!) So I am grateful that this didn't result into something more serious after taking him the the vet! 4 weeks went by and I made an appointment for both my dogs to get their rabies and distemper I was told that there would be a physical exam charge on my other dog ( to establish being a patient) ontop of the inoculation charges after both were given their shots I was charged ANOTHER physical exam for my blind dog. when I called to question why that was it was explained to me that it's THEIR "Office policy" to charge clients another physical fee if the dog is seen after 2 weeks! I'm a nurse and that's even unheard of in the medical field. The total bill was $209.00!!!! I stated, "If it is your office policy then why not put up disclaimers or better yet why didn't the office staff relate this piece of information. This wasn't an "oversight", this was a "screw the public" gesture! Be warn for hidden fees going to this place, and be warned about the vets who apparently overlooked a potential life threatening condition on my very own pet! There are better places to go to in the area! FYI the spaying/neutering costs are highway robbery as well,, they're well over $200, I was quoted much much less at the other local vets. This animal is no different nor more special then it's "quacked" up to be (no pun intended)!
