Mandie, our six year old Chorkie, required hernia surgery this week. She is home and doing amazingly well. Dr. McAteer and his staff were wonderful and professional, yet personable. McAteer Animal Hospital ROCKS!!

Dr. McAteer is a very wise and helpful vet. My cat caught a series of freak illnesses and had to be put to sleep shortly after my 17th birthday. I was devestated. Dr. McAteer consoled me and prayed over him. I was still heart broken. We had decided to cremate him and Dr. McAteer said he would take care of everything. It had been a few months and I started to worry. Why hadn't we got his ashes back? My dad finally checked up on things and it turns out that they did indeed cremate my cat but did not keep his ashes. This was clearly a slip up at the office and most likely error in the paperwork. I miss him so much..and wish he could have a proper burial. I know he didnt mean for this mishap to occur but I will never be able to have that last goodbye. Needless to say Dr. McAteer is an amazing Vet who helped my family pets countless times over the years. I just hope this situation can be avoided in the future.

Dr. McAteer is a kind professional whose love for animals is apparent as soon as you meet him. I took my daughter's outside cat in after he'd been in a springtime skirmish. Dr. McAteer provided a thorough examination, gave recommendations, and provided us with a quick follow-up date for follow-on services. His staff was friendly, empathetic and gentle as well. Dexter thanks you and so does his family!

Dr. McAteer cares deeply for his furry patients and their parents. When our dog passed away he sent us the sweetest letter offering his sympathy and support. Great caring service!

The vet himself is awesome. The staff behind the counter leaves a lot to be desired. We had to cancel an appointment due to my doctor appt overlapped. The woman on the phone refused to set another appointment. We moved away and wanted to still use Mcteer due to his caring and knowledgeable experience! It guess we will move on, since the the receptionist decides who comes there. Good luck Mcteer on keeping customers! William Carter
