I've been fostering a litter of kittens for a local rescue. One of them fell ill, seemed to have rebounded and this morning I woke up and she had taken a turn for the very worst. No muscle tone and only moved to cry. It was still quite early in the morning, so I took her here rather than waiting for my normal vet office to open. They took me right in. The vet asked me if he should try to save her and when I asked for his honest opinion if she could be saved (I honestly didn't think she could, she's been medicated and given a lot of supportive care over the last couple of days), he was honest with me. He didn't try to sell me the hail mary pass to keep her going, or try to get me to spend money that honestly wouldn't have helped me. The tech was sweet and gentle with her, as was the vet. It was a very hard morning that they made as pleasant as it could possibly be. Rest in Peace, Tiny. You had a the spirit of a warrior and I loved you in the brief time you had here.

Their staff is very friendly and compassionate. Dr. Schultze was on duty and helped me in every way he could think of. A great thank you for everyone's kindness in a difficult situation.

The receptionist was very friendly, even volunteering alternative providers specifically for my rabbit. I ended up waiting until the morning due to the high price of emergency service, after deciding my pet appeared stable. I feel that the price comes with the level of urgency, as with human care. If my pet really needed it, I would pay it. If my pet really needed 24 hour assistance and there was none available- I would be sad. Cheers to this clinic for helping me make the right decision and for being there as an emergency alternative for those who need it!
