I love Dr. Carmen he is very knowledgeable and saved my dog's life, he took care of my rottie until the very end and he saved my pomeranian who was suffering from a thyroid disorder.

He was great at first but he slowly has turned. He forgets health issues of your pet.....ok so open the file! My dog was getting an expensive treatment and with out my permission, he charged me 60 for an exam I did not approve of or have the money for. When I asked for advice on a situation, he raised his hands up and said " I don't know what to tell you". If you took you child to a doctor and said that what would you do? Time for him to retire!

These people should not be in the business of caring for animals. Staff is rude, doctor is barely ever in and when he is he's "too busy" to speak with patients. Also, the Dr. is friends with the owner of Garden State Veterinary Specialists, whom he of course referred me to when my dog needed surgery and who subsequently charged me $5K to perform it, botch it and put my dog's life at even more risk. If you love your pet, find another vet! Oh, and the other reviews are indeed true: the secretary is indeed as dumb as rocks. Don't know how she functions in real life.

They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all.
My cat had a cancerous tumor removed 5 years ago by Dr Lorenzo and she is still alive and kicking! Excellent doctor, caring and a true good person.
