It has been years, But Marianne Socha was very concise and caring for my dogs. I hope since I have not lived in the area for years that I can get my dogs health care thru her again. I have heard that they are not taking new clients for years I hope that is not true.

This has been my pomeranian's vet for a long time, she had come down with pyometra and two other vets told me there was nothing that could be done, I took her to this hospital and they were able to accurately diagnose and operate on my pomeranian. The vet, Marianne Socha gave us another 7 great years with our pom. The time had recently come to where her quality of life was going downhill fast, I called and they got her in right the same day, again diagnosed correctly. The only sad part was having her euthanized because of her suffering and with cancer at the age of 14. I highly recomend Firelands animal hospital !

No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments

This fall, my 7 year old dog suffered a sudden seizure. Firelands Animal Hospital agreed to see him in order to give me a second opinion, and I was able to get him in within a couple days. My dog was examined very thoroughly, I was treated very kindly, and the only tests that were done were at my request. When he had another seizure a couple weeks later, I was able to bring him in immediately, and he has responded well to the medication this office prescribed for him. Although I already had a vet with whom I was very pleased, I made the decision to move to this animal hospital due to it being much closer to my home than my former vet. I have been pleased with this decision and feel more confident dealing with my dog's condition knowing help is now just around the corner. I like that I can wait with my dog in a private room. I like that the two vets I've seen here both greeted my dog on his level - actually on the floor - and let him explore them thoroughly before beginning their exams. I like the professionalism displayed there by everyone I've encountered. I like that my dog's condition has been carefully explained as were my treatment options. I have been pleased to find the price structure here to be in keeping with that of my previous vet - and his were very reasonable. This is a very caring office. Since coming here, it has come to my attention that this office offers help to at-risk animals such as those that have been abused or neglected. This evening, I even received a callback from the senior veterinarian to check up on my dog. I would highly recommend this animal hospital to anyone wanting excellent care for their pet .In fact, I already have!
